Gary B. Whitehead

Gary B. Whitehead, 84, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow the service in Vernon Assembly of God Cemetery.

Gary was born September 18, 1941, to Charles B. And Lillie Mae Garrard Whitehead in Winston County, Mississippi. He enjoyed farming and loved to watch westerns.

Gary is survived by his sister, Kathy Martin of Louisville; and his loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Faye Adams and Margie Ann Whitehead; and four brothers: Kenny Lamar Whitehead, Guy Eugene Whitehead, Carl Lavell Whitehead, and Jessie James Whitehead.

Serving as pallbearers are Josh Dempsey, Channing Watson, Richard Watson, Grant Kitchens, Johnnie Gregory, and Ricky Glass.
