Lydia “Granny” Manning

Services for Lydia “Granny” Manning will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County with Rev. Dwight Fleming and Rev. Bryan Madison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Manning, 103, of Winston County, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home.

A native and lifelong resident of the Mars Hill Community in Winston County, she enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, and cooking for the community. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially going to church to worship. Mrs. Manning was a member of Old Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County.

Survivors include; grandchildren, Tim Manning (Karen) of Philadelphia, MS, Ted Manning (Barbara) of Philadelphia, MS, Sam Manning (Dawn) of Germantown, TN, Brad Stuart (Amy) of Philadelphia, MS, Donald Joe Nowell (Vanessa) of Philadelphia, MS; great-grandchildren, Jessica Barnett (Allan) of Philadelphia, MS, Kaitlin Copeland (Jason) of Philadelphia, MS, Belle Manning of Germantown, TN, Caden and John Brady Stuart of Philadelphia, MS, Minnie, Lyra and Weston Nowell of Philadelphia, MS; great-great-granddaughter, Ivy Kait Copeland; sister, Nita Goldman of Philadelphia, MS; daughter-in-law, Pam Manning of Philadelphia, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mrs. Manning in death were husband, Therell S. Manning; son, Wendell Manning; and brothers, Hubert Sisson and Brealon Sisson.

Valerie Dawn Hughes, 51, of Louisville, MS., passed on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Merit Hospital, Jackson, MS. Betty Burnham Adams

Services for Betty Burnham Adams will be held Monday, May 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Sister Margaret Jones and Brother Keith Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Park in Louisville, MS. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

Mrs. Adams, 74, of Preston, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home.

A native of Winston County, she was a resident of Kemper County for the past 33 years. She retired from U. S. Motors. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Louisville.

Survivors include husband, Jimmy Goodin of Preston, MS; sons, Ricky (DeLesa) Adams and Jason (Freda) Adams of Louisville, MS; and Jr (Pam) Goodin of Preston, MS; daughter, Melissa (Joe) Watrous of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter-in-law, Donna Goodin of Preston, MS; sister, Myrtice Boatner of Schriever, LA; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Adams in death were her first husband, Billy Wade Adams; parents, Beatrice Cherry Burnham and William Thomas Burnham; son, Scottie Goodin; brothers, Melvin Burnham and Jack Burnham of Louisville, MS, Marvin Burnham of Philadelphia, MS, Gene Burnham of House, MS, Leon Burnham of Schriever, LA, Johnny Burnham of Houma, LA, Charles Burnham of Thibodaux, LA; and sister, Margie Lishman of Thibodaux, LA.

Mary Roynell Hill Richardson

Mary Roynell Hill Richardson, 95, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, May 23, 2022, at her home in Louisville, Mississippi. Graveside services and interment will be Thursday, May 26 at Murphy Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Mayo and Bro. Ben James officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Roynell was born April 15, 1927, to Luther Austin and Winnie Stokes Hill in Winston County, Mississippi. She was a 1945 graduate of Bond School. For 41 years, she managed a children’s clothing store in Butler, Alabama. Roynell was a long-time member of Mt. Sterling Baptist Church in Butler until she moved to Louisville several years ago. Currently she was a member of the church in which she grew up, Murphy Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and with her flowers.

Roynell is survived by her daughter Diane Tanner of Louisville and her son David Richardson (Crystal) of Tallulah, Louisiana. One of her greatest joys was being “Big Mama” or “Grandma” to her four grandchildren: Misty (Cade) Booth of Starkville, Mississippi; Parrish (Alicia) Tanner of Lutz, Florida; Brian (Emily) Richardson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and John David Richardson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; as well as her four great-grandchildren: Ian Tharp, Alexander Tanner, James Tanner, and Farris Richardson. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred P. Richardson, her parents, three older siblings: Louise Miller, Evelyn Rogers, and L. D. Hill, and one younger brother Phillip Hill.

Danny Burns

Danny Alexander Burns, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 27 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Dempsey officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. in Eastern Cemetery, 200 Old Highway 21, Forest, Mississippi.

Danny was born September 18, 1947, to Inez Ferguson Blaine in Winston County, Mississippi. He was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. Danny worked at Georgia-Pacific and later at Taylor Machine Works as a machinist while in college. In 1978, he graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Danny retired from the Winston-Louisville Vocational Center where he had an impact on the lives of many students. He was an avid fisherman and always looked forward to the end-of-the-year fishing trip with his fellow instructors. Danny enjoyed adding to his extensive coin and knife collections; but his main focus was following his grandchildren and supporting them in any sporting event in which they were involved.

Danny is survived by his wife of 54 years Susan Hughes Burns of Columbus, Mississippi; and two sons: Yancy Burns and wife Shanda of Jackson, Mississippi; and Daniel Burns and wife Misty of Ethelsville, Alabama. One of his greatest joys was being “Pawpaw” to his five grandchildren: Dylan Burns, Morgan Burns, Madilyn Burns, Harper Burns, and Evan Burns. He is also survived by two brothers: Jerry Michael (Sheryl) Burns and Robin Blaine; his aunt Rachel Ferguson; and his uncle Hubert (Wanda) Ferguson. He is preceded in death by his mother Wynnie Inez Blaine.

Serving as pallbearers are Dylan Burns, Harper Burns, Morgan Burns, Bubba Brown, Ryan Eggar, and Shane McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers are: Fred Davis, Tim Dowdle, Randal Livingston, Bobby McWhirter, Wayne Miles, Willie Earl Miles, Ernie Moore, Leo Parker, Fred Pugh, Charlie Rushing, Charles Henry Stokes, and Rodney Stokes.

Betty Jean Chadwick Dawkins

Visitation for Betty Jean Chadwick Dawkins will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Allan Dees will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.

 Betty Jean was born to Herman & Margaret Boswell Chadwick. She grew up in the Center Grove (Maben) Community and was a lifelong resident of Mississippi. She was married to Johnie Mack Dawkins for over 60 years. They had three children: Sandra Gail “Sandy” Dawkins Nail (Jerry), Johnie Russel “Rusty” Dawkins (Dana), and Jeffrey Mack “Jeff” Dawkins (Kathy). They were also blessed with three precious grandchildren: Blake Chadwick Dawkins, Lauren Ashley Dawkins, and Russel Tyler Dawkins. 

Betty worked, for many years, at the home she and Johnie Mack shared on the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, helping to run the permit office. Later, she continued working for the State of Mississippi as a District Manager for the WIC Program. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Margaret Chadwick, her husband, Johnie Mack Dawkins, her daughter, Sandra Gail “Sandy” Nail, her son, Johnie Russel “Rusty”, her brother, Marvin Chadwick, and one grandson, Johnathan Michael Dawkins. 

She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Mack Dawkins, Daughter-in-Law, Kathy, Daughter-in Law, Dana, Son-in-Law, Jerry Nail, grandchildren, Blake Dawkins, Lauren Dawkins, and Tyler Dawkins, brothers, Charles Chadwick, Herman M. “Buddy” Chadwick, Sisters, Judy Williams, Peggy Keane, Mary Carolyn Murray, Faye Agnelly, and Frances Blackwell. She is also survived by countless nieces and nephews, Brother-in-Law, Charles Dawkins, Sister-in-Law, Faye Dawkins, one very special Great-Great Nephew Jack Cohen Pritchard, and very special buddy, Thomas Travis Carpenter IV, lovingly known as T4, with whom she shared a very special bond.

Margaret Cherry Puckett Brown

Mrs. Margaret Cherry Puckett Brown, 99, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 23rd, at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Kemper County, MS. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 A.M. until service time at the church. Interment will be in Bay Springs Baptist Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown was born on October 6, 1922, in Kemper County, MS. She worked many places in Louisville, including Turner Hardware, Libby’s Shoe Store, and worked at Louisville Utilities for many years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Leroy Brown; her parents, Maude Irene Cherry Puckett and Thomas Watson Puckett; two sisters, Frances Creekmore Anderson and Mary Elizabeth Nelson; and three brothers, Thomas W. Puckett, Jr., Johnny Waitus Puckett, and William Leroy Puckett.

She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Montgomery of Louisville, and Annette (Rick) Eason of Chattanooga, TN; a son, Larry (Jan) Brown of Dekalb, MS; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

We will miss this loving caring lady that lived an example of unconditional love before her family for us to follow.

Jessica Wynn Graham

Services for Ms. Jessica Wynn Graham will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel. Burial will be in New Harmony.

Ms. Jessica Wynn Graham, of Philadelphia died on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Ms. Jessica was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She graduated Neshoba Central and attended Victory fellowship Church.

Survivors include daughters, Madison Graham of Philadelphia, Meagan Graham of Union, Morgan Graham of Sebastopol; mother, Marie Massey of Philadelphia; father, James Reed of Louisville; brothers, James Reed of Philadelphia, Jason Reed of Philadelphia; she is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Adrienne Pickett Burchfield

Adrienne Pickett Burchfield, 44, passed away peacefully at her home in Louisville, MS, surrounded by her family and friends on May 18, 2022. Adrienne had battled Crohn’s disease for nearly 27 years, and her valiant fight was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. A graveside service held in her honor will be at Murphy Creek Cemetery on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Adrienne is survived by her sons, Chess and Hayden Burchfield of Louisville, MS, her mother, Vickie and stepfather, Wayne Snow of Louisville, her brother Austin Snow also of Louisville, her aunt Dianne and husband Brian Corley of Pensacola, FL, and her aunt Sandy and Don Sharpe of Breaux Ridge, LA. She is also survived by two step sisters as well as many cousins and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Judy Jones Fulcher, and her grandparents Odie and Pearl Jones.

Adrienne was born on July 24, 1977 and has always lived in Winston County. She enjoyed simple things like Chinese food and a movie with her boys, and quality time with family and friends. Adrienne also possessed a strong faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ which she declared to those around her within hours of her death.

The family would like to acknowledge the special loving care shown to Adrienne by Robin Clark and Madison Womble during her last days.

Opal Rae Long

Devoted wife and mother, Opal Rae Long, passed peacefully on May 17, 2022, at the age of 101 at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville. Interment will immediately follow the service in Louisville Memorial Cemetery.

Opal was born June 10, 1920, to Lillie Bell and James Andrew Doss of Maben, Mississippi. Opal, lovingly called Mamaw, was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and caregiver who shared her love through cooking and caring for those around her. She was known for her homemade biscuits and gravy and always having a hot pot of coffee and pound cake for those she loved.

Opal was married to BB for 50 years. Together, they ran Long’s Laundry in Louisville and developed many friendships in the community. Her greatest joy in life was raising her son Bill. Opal was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son Bill (Cherie), their three daughters Jennifer Long Hudson (Rafe), Kristen Long Whitaker (Jeff), Jessica Long Esposito (Angelo), and six great grandchildren. Opal also leaves behind two sisters-in law Betty Fulcher Long and Lera Dae Doss as well as loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband BB Long, her parents, and two brothers Talton Lee Doss and James Harvey Doss. Mamaw will remain in our hearts forever.

Tommy Clinton Miller, 73, of Orlando, FL., formerly of Louisville, MS., passed May 5, 2022, at the Veteran Hospital, Lake Nona, FL. Bobby Vernice Stokes

Mr. Bobby Vernice Stokes of Pineville, Louisiana, passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 87 from a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Bobby was born on November 8, 1934, in Noxapater, Mississippi. He was known to be an avid classic car enthusiast and collector. He loved God and dedicated his later years to praying for and ministering to the sick.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents Vernice and Myrtis Miles Stokes, son, Murray Stokes, and two brothers, Steve D. Stokes and Donaver Stokes. He is survived by his wife, Lillian, and his sister, Arneta Moon. Bobby was blessed with a large family. He leaves his children, daughter Beverly Foster (husband Bennett), granddaughter Erin Mallette, Murray Stokes (deceased), grandson Kane and Samantha Stokes, Suzette Rene Jacobs (husband Richard), grandson Elijah Cole Jacobs, Brenda Dranguet (husband Dean), granddaughters Julie Moree, Audrey Copeland, Bobby Stokes (wife Angela), grandchildren Taylor Stokes, Shelby Stokes, Sara Cooper, Bethanie Herrick (husband James), grandchildren Amanda Litton, Adam Chelette, Joseph Poulin, Jonathan Poulin, Regina Stokes Teekell (husband Jon), Brian Stokes (Pilar), grandchildren Isabel, Ricardo, Bobby, Liliana, Brian.

Great grandchildren Emma, Justin, Kaiden, Colt, Ella Kate, Josiah, Luke, Jolie, Eli, Noah, Josie Belle, Jac, Gabriel, Jacob, Kien, Brielle. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service (only) is going to be at 12:30 pm on Friday at Vernon Assembly of God Church, Louisville, Mississippi.

Colbi Raynee Bridges, infant daughter of Morgan and Colby Bridges, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Private family graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. Brad Herod officiating.

Jimmy “Boyd” Burrage, Jr.

Jimmy “Boyd” Burrage, Jr., age 62, entered into eternal rest on May 12, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at Noxapater United Methodist Church with Bro. Tom Potter officiating. Visitation will be at the church the day of the service from 5 p.m. until service time in Noxapater, Mississippi. Interment will immediately follow the service in Noxapater Methodist Cemetery.

Boyd was born January 19, 1960, to Jimmy Boyd and Virginia Merle Burrage of Noxapater. Boyd graduated from Noxapater High School in 1978. He continued his education at East Central Community College and later Ole Miss. While at Ole Miss, he was a member of the Gamma Ieta Sigma Insurance Fraternity. Boyd graduated from Ole Miss in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He retired from Ford Credit. Boyd was an active member of Noxapater United Methodist Church. He was an avid supporter of all things involving Noxapater school and Ole Miss, but especially the football programs of each school. Boyd also loved the town of Noxapater and all of the people that lived there. He was a member of the Noxapater Board of Alderman from November 1998 until May 2000.

He is survived by his mother Merle Burrage, a brother Brian Burrage, a nephew Brandon (Alyssa) Burrage all of Noxapater, and a niece Heather (Jerry) McCrory of Philadelphia; and four great-nieces Jessee, Addyson, Saydee, and Maggie. He was preceded in death b his father Jimmy Burrage, Sr., maternal grandparents Jessie and Jessie White, paternal grandparents Walter Franklin Burrage and Terressa Lipscomb Burrage.

Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Weeks, Tate Turner, Mark Covington, Tim Reed, Tim Hobby, Hugh Barrier, Bob Clay, Mich McAdory, and Chris McAdory. Randy Thomas will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family requests that memorials be made to the Noxapater Football Program.

Katherine “Kat” Flake McBrayer

Katherine “Kat” Flake McBrayer, age 83, passed away on May 12, 2022, in the Senatobia Healthcare and Rehab Center in Senatobia, Mississippi. A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville with Bro. Jimmy Flake and Bro. Wayne Hill officiating. Katherine was born June 13, 1938, to Willie Jessie and Margaret White Flake. She was a member of Crystal Ridge Baptist Church. Kat enjoyed working in her flowers and watching birds, especially cardinals. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Kat is survived by her children Angie Nowell of Hernando, Mississippi, and Ray McBrayer and wife Patricia of Montgomery, Alabama. One of her greatest joys was being “Granny Kat” to her four grandchildren: Dee (Kylie) McBrayer, Jessi (Trey) Jones, Kyle (Craegh) McBrayer, and Molli (Chance) Fortenberry; as well as her six great-grandchildren: Jackson Jones, Tripp McBrayer, Gray McBrayer, Charlie McBrayer, Lincoln Jones, and Pearl Fortenberry. She is survived by three sisters: Martha (Leroy) Fulcher, Elaine (Tom) Dooley, and Ruby Rogers. Kat is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eddie McBrayer, her parents, her grandson and great-grandson Eli McBrayer, and her siblings: Minnie Hudspeth, Maggie Eaves, Clinton Flake, and George Flake.

Serving as pallbearers are Dee McBrayer, Kyle McBrayer, Trey Jones, Chance Fortenberry, Ritchie Hudspeth, and Ronnie Flake. Mike Robertson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

James C. “Simp” Simpson, Jr.

James C. “Simp” Simpson, Jr., 74, of Macon, MS. passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Macon, MS with military honors. The Rev. Sandra Brown and Rev. Andy Pearson will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held at the church from nine until service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FUMC, P.O. “Simp”, as he was called by his family and friends, was born on September 3, 1947, in Macon, MS to the late James Calvin and Lillie Mae Higginbotham Simpson. He was a 1965 graduate of Noxubee County High School where he was an All- Star baseball player for the Tigers. During his career as a baseball player, he only allowed three errors. Simp graduated from East Mississippi Junior College and joined the U.S. Army where he served from 1969 until 1972. During the Vietnam War, he served as a Sergeant (E5) and was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 device. Upon returning from the war, he Simp received his B.S. in Agriculture from Mississippi State University. He then began his own business, Simpson Agricultural Consultant Services, and consulted for over forty years for many Delta farmers. He was a longtime member of the MS Agriculture Consultants Association where he once served as President and was recently inducted into their Hall of Fame. Simp was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Macon, MS and a longtime member of the Becomers Sunday School Class. He was an avid MSU sports fan and a member of the Bulldog Club. He enjoyed attending baseball, basketball, and football games there as often as possible. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed all types of hunting, fishing and especially turkey hunting.

 
Simp was married to the former Linda Lindley and they are the parents of Reid Simpson and his wife, Amy Herrington Simpson, and Lindley and her husband, Brad Peterson. He also has six grandchildren: Hailey, Beau, and Avery Kate Simpson and Lauren, Cal and Brett Peterson. Simp is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Wade R Lipscomb, Jr.

Cheryl Warmack Harbin

Mrs. Cheryl Warmack Harbin, 48, of Duck Hill, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was born October 14, 1973 in Louisville to William G., Sr. and Patsy Annette Hogg Warmack. Cheryl had worked as a truck driver most of her working life and also had completed training to become an EMT. While Cheryl enjoyed many hobbies, she loved to share her musical talents singing and playing the piano as well as working in arts and crafts. Her outgoing personality and loving, kind spirit will be missed for many years to come.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 PM until service time Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky B. Harbin of Duck Hill; mother, Patsy Warmack of Cullman, AL; four daughters, Courtney Buchanan of Cullman, AL, Caitlin Mitchell of Grenada, Kristin Blaylock of Duck Hill and Lauren Sherrill of Brandon; one son, Landon Harbin of Grenada; two sisters, Lynn Wade of Forest and Fran Warmack Kent of Cullman, AL; one brother, Bill Warmack, Jr. of Plattsburg; seven grandchildren, Gracie, Melia, Kagen, Aubrey, Ava Claire, Layla and Cash; a host of nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur babies. She was preceded in death by her father.

Sylvia Parkes Estes

Sylvia Parkes Estes, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital—Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 10 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Johnny Collins officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 1 p.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Interment will immediately follow the service in Louisville Memorial Cemetery.

Sylvia was born October 8, 1937, to Guy and Lillian Cockrell Parkes. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Sylvia served as the secretary at the Chamber of Commerce office for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her friends to various locations near and far to attend gospel singings. Sylvia also enjoyed the time she spent working in her yard and talking on the phone with her friends as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Chandler and husband Mike of Philadelphia, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Grannie” to her granddaughter Kayla Estes (Mikey) Leipert of Cullman, Alabama; and her two great-grandchildren Ryan King and Mabri Leipert. Sylvia also leaves behind her beloved dog: Charlie, Chief, and Bubbles; and her cat Lillie Mae all of whom provided great comfort to her. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Wayne Estes, her parents, and her brother Royce Parkes.

Serving as pallbearers are C. J. Boatner, Mike Chandler, Adam Horton, Mikey Leipert, Ryan Parkes, and Robert Presley. Mr. Johnnie L. Shell was born on August 12, 1950 to Johnnie Lee Shell and Etherine Hughes Shell in Louisville, MS. He was employed by Hudspeth Farms.

Mr. Shell departed his life on Monday, April 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family & friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Lee Shell: his mother, Etherine Shell: three brothers A.V. Shell, Kenny Joe Shell, and J. C. Shell, one sister Annie B. Shell Walker.
