Ann was born November 22, 1946, in Winston County, Mississippi, to Vernon Rasberry, Jr. and Willie Avis Herod Rasberry. She was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood, Mississippi, where she attended the Senior Sunday School class. Ann was an avid reader and had a passion for writing stories; at one time, she hoped to publish some of her work. Her career allowed her to travel extensively giving her an opportunity to see the world. Above all, Ann dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she cherished spending time with them.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Carmen Annice Hill of Sturgis, Mississippi, and Mary Emily (Robert) Harrison of Crosby, Texas. One of her greatest joys was being “MawMaw Ann” to her three grandchildren: Nikki (Michael) Davis, John Michael (Emily) Hill, and James Garrett Harrison; as well as her four great-grandchildren: Phillip Davis, Benjamin Davis, Frances “Frankie” Hill, and Stella Hill. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Billy Rasberry; her great-granddaughter, Sara Nicole Davis; and her son-in-law, Scott Hill.
Serving as pallbearers are John Michael Hill, Garrett Harrison, Michael Davis, and Robert Harrison.
