Bethany Marie White, age 20, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Attala County. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Denny Brown and Rev. Sean Greer officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bethany was born October 19, 1997, in Starkville, Mississippi, to Kenny and Kelli Fulcher White. She was a member of Revival Center Ministries. Bethany dearly loved her brothers; was a protector of animals; and enjoyed watching movies and her brothers play baseball. She also enjoyed cooking; painting; writing poems and drawing.
Bethany is survived by her parents, Kenny and Kelli Fulcher White; and her grandparents, Lavern Collier White and Leroy and Martha Fulcher all of Louisville. She also leaves behind five brothers to mourn her passing: Noah White and wife, Taylor; Elijah White, who is currently deployed to the Middle East; Gideon White; and the twins, Levi and Luke White; as well as her nephew, Easton White; and her niece, Lanie Grace White. Bethany is also survived by her “Aunt Mamie”, Brandi Fulcher Sanders; and her uncle, Michael White. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Coy White, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers are Noah White, Gideon White, Levi White, Luke White, Jonathan Blaine, Camden Sanders, Isaiah Eiland, and Eric Jones.
Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register.

Devon Thomas, age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 28, 2018 surrounded by his family. Prior to his passing, eloquent monikers could be attached to this patriarch of our family: Husband, Daddy, Paw Paw, sailor, mechanic, and woodsman. However, what is in a name? Devon epitomized a true leader servant of his Savior, nation, and family.

He is survived by his wife, Missy Goldman King; his mother, Jamie Gregory King; his father, David King, all of Louisville; three sons, Jon Kerry King and Jarrett King, both of Madison, MS, and Isaiah Conner of Louisville; a daughter, Kinsley Conner of Louisville; his sister, Sharla (Quinn Michael) Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mrs. Brent was born November 21, 1922, in Louisville, MS. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, and attended business college. She worked as a bookkeeper for many of her husband’s businesses and later retired after many years as a bookkeeper for Sunburst Bank. She was a member of Louisville Junior Auxiliary and Louisville Presbyterian Church. In 2003, she moved to Baton Rouge, LA, to be near her daughter and her family. Kathleen was happiest when visiting with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Brent; her parents, Mary Estelle and Earl Edison White; and two sisters, Earlene Pugh and Janice Black.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Tom) Brent Martin of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Brent Martin, Matthew (Marlo) Martin, and Caroline Martin; and four great grandchildren, Nathan, Vivian, Olivia, and Abigail.
Pallbearers will be Mike Forster, Brent Martin, Matthew Martin, Stefan Black, Calen Edwards, Charley McCool, and Jamie McMillin.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Tremeka and Domonique, her special caregivers and constant companions for many years.

John was born May 2, 1932, in Winston County, to Ludie Mae Slawson and W. C. Jowers. He graduated from Calhoun High School, and served in the U. S. Army. He retired after 31 years as an inspector with Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI. After retirement, he and his wife, Gladys, moved to Louisville in 1983, and he was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Helland Jowers; three sons, Scott (Jory) Jowers, Russell Jowers, and Mark (Susan) Jowers; three grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Linington, Mitchell (Hayley) Jowers, and Skyler Jowers.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
