Bill was born to the late John Wesley Sullivan, Sr. and the late Mary Clay Sullivan on February 1, 1967. He was 53 years old at the time of his death. Bill was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and was employed by The Coca Cola Company for more than 24 years. During that time, he worked in different capacities at Coca Cola and retired in 2015 due to health issues.
Bill was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle, and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was known for his love and concern for others and was the type of person who would “give you the shirt off his back” if he thought you needed it. He also loved his Mississippi State Bulldogs!
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, S. O. and Jewel Clay and Bill and Bertha Sullivan, all of Louisville, as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Stacy Ivy Sullivan; and two children Jaycob Sullivan and Marybeth Sullivan all of Louisville. He is also survived by two brothers John Wesley “Johnny” Sullivan, Jr. and Kenneth Clay “Kenny” Sullivan, both of Louisville; and his sister Mandy Trapp of Miami, Florida. Bill also leaves behind three special nieces: Morgan and Jordan Sullivan and Lexi Holman; great-nephew Jack Allen Sullivan; and great-niece Mamie Jewel Phillips; as well as numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
