Mrs. Glennie Triplett Wade, 90, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Itasca, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Rocky Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wade was a longtime resident of Itasca, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. “Sonny” Wade. She is survived by four children, Eleanor (Larry Anderson, James (Lynda) Wade, Sue (Don) Immekus, and Joseph Glenn (Martha) Wade; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is the sister-in-law of Peggy Heard of Louisville.

Born on July 3, 1922, to George and Hershel Smith Brannon, she was a retired bookkeeper and attended Antioch Baptist Church.

Lottie Chamblee Humphries, 85, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, from 9:00-11:00 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, with the funeral following at 11:00, Rev. Larry Haggard presiding. Mrs. Humphries was born October 10, 1925 in Leake County, Mississippi, the daughter of Elbert and Byrd Caston Chamblee. She graduated from East Central Junior College and Mississippi State College for Women, and taught English for many years, retiring from Noxapater High School. She was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church, and was active in community and club work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Marion, her husband Burnice Thomas (Billy) Humphries, and her son, Tom Chamblee Humphries. She is survived by her son, David Humphries and his wife Linda of Louisville, and her daughters, Charlotte Humphries of Hammond, Louisiana and Burnice (Bunny) Reihsmann and her husband Oscar of Vicksburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ivan Reihsmann of Portland, Oregon, Conrad Reihsmann of Vicksburg, and Evan and Eric Humphries of Louisville.
Pall bearers will be Ernest Fleming, James Humphries, Ronnie Mitchell, Jerry Smith, Scotty Smith and Kim Webb.
Memorials may be made to Camp Ground United Methodist Church.

Mr. Berry Jackson “Jack” Ivy, 72, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at his residence in Louisville. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 8th, at Liberty Universalist Cemetery, with Rev. Neil Chadwick officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Universalist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mr. Ivy was born February 6, 1939, in the U. S. Virgin Islands. He was a retired supervisor from Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, and Mason Chamberlain on the Gulf Coast. He was an Air Force veteran. He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Ivy of Louisville, and Bob Ivy of Nashville, TN; and one brother, Mike Ivy of Kathleen, GA.
