Pauline was born May 22, 1921, to George and Mary Patterson Prisock in Columbus, Mississippi. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville where she happily served in various capacities until her health prevented her from doing so. Pauline retired from the Farmer’s Home Administration, a part of the United States Department of Agriculture. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed working in her yard. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by her children: Mary Anne Dickerson and husband Jimmy of Brandon, Mississippi, and William Tully Rhodes, III and wife Brenda of Biloxi, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Mimi” to her grandchildren: Deborah (Jeff) Nowell, Paul (Claire) Mitchell, Melissa Rhodes, and Beth Rhodes (David Bley); her great-grandchildren: Woods Bley, Eric (Christy) Nowell, Madison (Tony) Sistrunk, and Ben (Candice) Mitchell; as well as her great-great-grandchildren: Braxton Nowell, Aubree Reed, Luke Henry Sistrunk, Braden Mitchell, and Porter Mitchell. She also leaves behind loving nieces, nephews, many friends, and her BeeHive and hospice families along with her wonderful caregivers who so lovingly cared for her. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband William Tully Rhodes, Jr., her parents, and siblings.

The family requests memorials in honor of Pauline be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital online at stjude.org/memorials or to the Palmer Home for Children, P. O. Box 746, Columbus, MS 39703.
