Anne was born May 3, 1942, to Barney and Mattie Bell Campbell Buckalew in Alabama. As an avid quilter, she was a member of the Louisville Quilters Guild. Anne enjoyed piecing and hand quilting them to gift to her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family as they put together jigsaw puzzles, which she then had framed to hang on her walls. Anne enjoyed making memory scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed eating out with her lunch buddies; but most of all, she dearly loved her family and especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
Anne is survived by two daughters Angie Dempsey and husband Jimmy; and Penny Hill all of Louisville; and by two sons Matthew Pritchett and wife Melissa also of Louisville; and Phillip Pritchett and wife Jan of Hampton, Georgia. One of her greatest joys was being “Granny” to her four grandchildren: Ashley (Justin) Darby, Allison (Kevin) Cole, Kimberly Ingram, and Kayla (Chase) Fuller; as well as her six great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Darby, Delta Darby, Cooper Cole, Grayson Ingram, Mattie Ingram, and Milton Fuller. She also leaves behind her sister Mary (Billy) Fendley of Fulton, Alabama; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Billy Joe Pritchett, her son David Pritchett, her twin sister Jeanette Anderson, and her brother William Buckalew.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Cole, Justin Darby, Chase Fuller, Chris Crowson, Frankie Crowson, and Justin Strait. Memorial contributions in honor of Ms. Anne may be given to West End Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1618, Louisville, MS 39339.
