Kathleen Walker, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 23 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shayne Martin officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Interment will immediately follow in Murphy Creek Cemetery.
Kathleen was born January 9, 1950, to Joseph and Oma Dell Dickerson Kitchens. She was an avid reader and an excellent artist; Kathleen enjoyed painting and writing poetry. Candy was a major weakness; she enjoyed eating candy! Kathleen retired as a supervisor with the National Bank of Commerce in Starkville, Mississippi.
Kathleen is survived by her son Kevin Bing of Waterford, Mississippi, her daughter-in-law Linda Bing also of Waterford, and her step-son Wade Walker of Maben, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren: Heather Bing (David) Sword, Bradley (Meghan) Bing, Cameron (Abby) Bing, and Samantha (Drew) Farrow as well as her great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Sword, Paxton Sword, Brycen Bing, Brytley Bing, Bryler Bing, Jacklynn Bing, Levi Bing, Asher Bing, Kaitlyn Farrow, and Ava Farrow. She also leaves behind two sisters Linda Hunt and Jamie Kitchens. Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Danny Walker, her son Bobby Dewayne Bing, her parents, her sister Betty Ann Kitchens Baley, and two brothers Lamar Kitchens and Michael Wayne Kitchens.
