Johnny was born September 19, 1945, in Choctaw County, MS, to Ruben Henry Morgan and Myrtle Florence Black Morgan. He was a truck driver for CCI. Johnny was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church member and a United States Army veteran.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Linda Morgan of Brandon; daughter, Samantha (Chris) Vinklarek; step-son, Perry (Melissa) Lanius of Brandon; brother, Grover (Chris) Morgan of Pelham, AK; sisters, Patty Hatten and Allene Dorsey of McCool, and Martha Ryals of Zama; grandchildren, Morgan and Austin Vinklarek, step-grandchildren, Regan Lanius and Sarah White; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ruben Henry Morgan and Myrtle Florence Black Morgan; nephew, Michael Dorsey; step-children, Sandy Lanius and Jim Lanius.
Danny Ryals, Brad Ryals, Ronald Bunn, Mark Bunn, Chris Stevenson, and Floyd Morgan are serving as pallbearers.
