Sidney was born June 2, 1941, to Holman and Jetty McAdory. He was a member of the Baptist faith; and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved farming; his horse, his hogs, and gardening.
Mr. McAdory is survived by his wife of 54 years, Libby McAdory; and his son, Thomas McAdory both of Noxapater. He is also survived by two sisters, Rita Calloway and husband, Ricky; and Joyce Lockwood and husband, Malcolm; and one brother, Joe Davis McAdory and wife, Kathy. One of his greatest joys was being “Pawpa” to his two granddaughters, Macy and Gracy McAdory; and his three great-grandchildren: Kate Drury, Weslyn McAdory and Gunner McAdory. Sidney was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ann McAdory; his grandson, Wesley McAdory; and his parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Burrage, Jody McAdory, Rayburn Robinson, Chunky Thomas, Jerry Thomas, and Bernard Winstead. Donations may be given to Nowell Massey Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
