Funeral Services for Jimmie Ruth Sisson will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County with Bro. Richard Burks and Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel.
Jimmie Ruth Sisson, 90 of Philadelphia passed away Saturday, December, 14 2024, at Neshoba County Nursing home.
Jimmie was a long time resident of Philadelphia Ms., she and her husband Brealon were great workers in the Mars Hill Fire Department for years. She worked at various factories over the years and later became a house wife. One of her main hobbies was sewing and could make anything from dresses to cushions and beautiful curtains. She was a great cook and made wonderful dressing. She always wanted to help when someone needed something. Jimmie was a member of Mars Hill Pentecostal Church and serving God and going to church, was what she loved more than anything. She loved her family deeply and was always there for them and she will be surely missed by all.
She is survived by her nieces, Judy Wyatt, and Kathy Womble (Charlie); along with numerous great-nieces, nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brealon Sisson; parents, Lester and Eula Mae Stevens; brothers, Junior Stevens, Kenneth Stevens; nephews, Wendell Manning, Ferlon Goldmon; nephew in law Jimmy Wyatt.
Pallbearers will be Derek Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Greg Sisson, Glenn Sisson, Frankie Goldmon and Bill Goldmon.
