Buddy was born August 9, 1950, in Louisville, MS. He was a graduate of Louisville High School, and worked in the forestry division at Georgia Pacific for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, having served during the Vietnam era. Buddy loved horses and for many years rode in the Dixie National Wagon Train that traveled the state and ended at the Dixie National Rodeo at the coliseum in Jackson. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mozell Cockrell Warner and C.B. Warner; one sister, Jean McDill; and a brother, John Thomas “Johnny” Warner.
Buddy is survived by four sisters, Kendall (Marvin) Hemphill and Shirley McDill, both of Louisville, Ruby Jane Shorman of Waukegan, IL, and Diane Coleman of Sturgis; and a number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
