Mrs. Elizabeth Griffith, 68, died Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 4th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Franklin Smith officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Indian Springs Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Griffith was born December 14, 1948, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and George Howard; a sister, Peggy Ann Smith; and a brother, Jessie Howard.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Hardy of Noxapater, MS; three daughters, Melissa (Michael) Moravec of Noxapater, Beth Hardy of Carthage, and Kim Hardy of Kosciusko; two sons, Ricky Griffith of Noxapater, and George Griffith of Oxford, MS; two sisters, Sammie Cobb and Addie Smith of Noxapater, MS; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Haden Smith, Christopher Cremeen, Christian Branning, Paul Smith, Jr., P J. Nickels, and Paul Morris.
