Mrs. Katherine Cadmus Pearson, 86, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at her son’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey officiating. Interment will be in Whitehall Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pearson was born March 11, 1930, in Trenton, NJ. She was a homemaker, worked at Spartus for many years, and she also helped her husband on their cattle farm. She was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. “Jack” Pearson; one brother, Frank Cadmus; her parents, Caroline Hein Cadmus and Frank Cadmus; and one son, Roy F. Pearson.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (John Albert) Young; her sons, Larry D. (Pam) Pearson and Paul W. (Patricia) Pearson; her sister, Sharon Sheldon, all of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Chapel Building fund or the Whitehall Cemetery fund.
