Willie Lee Ingram

Willie Lee Ingram, 75, of Louisville, MS., passed on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2 p.m., from Beck Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Louisville Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 until funeral time.  Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Willie was born August 11, 1949 to the parents of Jasper Ingram and Pearline Nolan Ingram in Winston County Mississippi.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lonnie Ingram, Charles Ingram, Mary Ann Ingram, and Betty Kelly.

Willie is survived by; his wife, Lucy Ingram; children, Willie Childress, Willie L. (Madeline) Ingram, Jr., Jennifer (Benjamin) Hart, Jenika Ingram, Christal Ingram and Daryl Ingram; 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren;  siblings, Nancy Mae Wicks, Central Ingram, Mabeline Ingram, Jackie (Lisa) Ingram, Ethelrine (Bobby) Rice, and Michelle (Rudy) Fulmore; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and family.

Abbie Ruth Pickett Rawls Smith

Abbie Ruth Pickett Rawls Smith was born in Nanih Waiya, Mississippi on July 16, 1937 and passed on December 28, 2024 in Kilgore, Texas after struggling with dementia. Abbie raised four successful children in her lifetime, which she considered one of her greatest achievements. Abbie and husband, Bill, whom she met while working at McDermott Engineering in Houston, Texas, traveled the world. They even lived in Saudi Arabia for a year, but they both loved their farm at Nanih Waiya the most and spent many wonderful years together there. After Bill’s passing, Abbie had her own house in Louisville which she loved very much. In her late years, she moved to Texas where all of her children lived. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed beautiful flowers. 

Abbie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Leslie Pickett and Mary Christine Warren Pickett; three brothers, Randolph Pickett, Henry Pickett, and Buddy Pickett, and two sisters, Dorothy Green and Betty Ann Williamson. 

She is survived by her four children, Rhonda Lynn Pinkston and husband Sandy, Mary Ann Murphy and husband, Stephen, Carol Sue Bonds and husband Stanley (deceased), and Tommy Ray Rawls and wife Allison; two sisters, Gloria (Wayne) Veazey and Doris Pickett Lovorn; a brother, Warren Pickett (Kay Robertson), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Abbie was a Christian and put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ. 

Her funeral will be graveside at the cemetery off 397 at the former Mt. Hebron Methodist Church near Nanih Waiya on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Childs officiating.

Linda Dianne Vowell Liddell

Linda Dianne Vowell Liddell passed away at home in Fentress, Mississippi from complications of a stroke on December 27, 2024.

Linda taught in the Choctaw County School System for twenty-five years before her retirement at 53. She attended Chester Baptist Church at the time of her death. She loved growing and taking care of plants, flowers, and trees at her home in Fentress, and sharing her plants with others. She enjoyed baking desserts, reading books, sewing, and spending time with both her immediate and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Wilson Vowell and Myrtice Inez Dempsey Vowell of Weir; and her brothers, Richard Saxon Vowell, Sr. of Weir, Dewitt Wilson “Top” Vowell, Sr. of Weir, and Billy Gene “Buddy” Vowell, Sr. of Carthage.

Linda is survived by her husband, Terry Garlan Liddell of Fentress; her daughters and sons-in-law, Robert Miller “Bob” Whitehead, Sr. and Julie Denice Liddell Whitehead of Brandon and Micheal “Quint” King and Summer Dianne Liddell King of Ackerman; her grandchildren and their spouses, Terrie and Thomas Morrison, Sr. of Lakeland, Florida, Amber and George DuSold of Carrollton, Georgia, Rachel Miriam Whitehead of Brandon, Quincy Lee King of Ackerman, and Knox Liddell King of Ackerman; one great-grandson, Thomas Edward Morrison, Jr. of Lakeland, Florida. She is also survived by many, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are handled by Coleman Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at South Union Cemetery near Ackerman, MS, on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Buell officiating. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in her name to South Union Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.

Faye Love Horton

Faye Love Horton, 86 left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 27, 2024. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 30 at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. A graveside service will be held at Whitehall Church Cemetery on December 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be under the direction of Massey Funeral Home in Louisville.

Faye was born to Ira Woodward Horton, Sr. and Flora Lawrence Horton on August 11, 1938 in Winston County, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, East Central Community College, and The University of Southern Mississippi. After college, Faye returned to Louisville to assist her family with the operations of Horton Furniture and Appliance on Main Street in Louisville. Faye’s professional life consisted of sales at the family business, as well as, various positions with local and regional companies. Faye took time off from her career to care for her mother until her death in 1987. She was a member of Whitehall Church and a past member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club. Faye enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, writing poetry, and gardening. She was pleased to have one of her songs released on the album “The Now Sounds of Today”. Faye was always known as a generous person and shared with those that she loved.

Faye is survived by her sister-in-law Judy Horton, her nieces Phyllis Holt and Donna Jordan (Tony) and her nephew Brent Horton along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers James L. Horton, Henry Dean Horton, and Ira Woodward Horton, Jr. (I. W.) and two sisters Evelyn H. Black and Mary Nell Horton.

Pallbearers will be Brent Horton, Ethan Jordan, Tony Jordan, and Grant Vandiver. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Blair, Jonathan Holt, and the men of Whitehall Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitehall Church c/o Garvin Whitten 10954 Highway 14 West, Louisville, MS 39339.

Larry Eugene Shaffer Jr.

Larry Eugene Shaffer Jr., 60, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 29 at Whitehall Church in Louisville, Mississippi, with Reverend Mike Dowd officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in Whitehall Cemetery.

Larry was born January 5, 1964, to Larry and Willie Mae Walker Shaffer in Richmond, Indiana. Larry served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He worked for the City of Louisville for 19 1/2 years. Larry was an avid Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed wood working, epoxy work, and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife of nearly 41 years Cynthia “Cindy” Kinard Shaffer and his daughters, Christina Shaffer of Louisville, and Jessica Shaffer Johnson (Josh) of Vaiden; his grandchildren Victoria Shaffer, Isabella Stier, Skyler Shaffer, Monae’ Shaffer, and James Morris Johnson; and five sisters Linda Hopson (Davis), Janie Powers, Donna Kelley, Debbie Rhoderick, and Jennifer Lejeune. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Patrick Shaffer.

Serving as pallbearers are Chris Eaves, Robert Eaves, Donnie Graham, Will Hill, Danny Ray Kinard, and Toby Pruden. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Morris and Scott Gregory. Memorials in honor of Larry may be given to Massey Funeral Home.

Peggy Ann Livingston

Peggy Ann Livingston, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at The Carrington Nursing Home in Starkville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Mr. Ronald Simpson officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery.

Peggy was born September 30, 1949, to Oakley B. and Cora Vell Roberson Livingston in Louisville, Mississippi. As long as her health allowed, Peggy was an active member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed working as a volunteer in the Sunday School department and helping with Vacation Bible School every summer. Peggy is a 1968 honor graduate of Louisville High School. She was an avid Bible reader; she truly loved God with all her heart, soul, and mind. Peggy always exhibited a positive attitude in life, particularly during her battle with Parkinson’s disease. Her spirit radiated the love that she had for her Savior and she acquired her strength from her trust in the Lord. After 24 years, Peggy retired from The Spartus Corporation. She loved her cat; she definitely loved Christmas; but most of all, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Peggy is survived by her nieces: Leah (Jeff) Donald of Starkville and Lynn (Todd) Day of Brandon, Mississippi; and her four nephews: Ricky (Elizabeth) Livingston of Franklin, Tennessee; Robert (Bonnie) Simpson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Roland (Maurice) Simpson; and Ronald (Linda) Simpson all of Columbus, Mississippi. She also leaves behind loving great-nieces and great-nephews, other family members, and friends. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marjorie Simpson; brother-in-law, O. B. Simpson; brother, Pharris Livingston; and her sister-in-law, Eddie Mae Livingston.

Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Livingston, Jeff Donald, Robert Simpson, Pharris Livingston, Thomas Livingston, and Austin Day. Memorials in honor of Peggy may be given to Evergreen Baptist Church.

Jo Quinn Worrell Smith

Jo Quinn Worrell Smith of Greenwood, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024 with her family by her side.

Jo Quinn was born July 18, 1940 in Memphis, TN and raised in Ackerman, MS. She was a graduate of Ackerman High School and Mississippi College for Women (MSCW).She was a long time resident of Greenwood, MS and before retirement, was an Elementary Music Teacher at Bankston Elementary School and then at Pillow Academy. She loved teaching music to her students and after retirement, was always thrilled to run into former students who shared with her their favorite songs she taught them along with music program memories and other music activities. Jo Quinn was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Funeral services will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS.

Visitation will be held prior to service time from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.

Jo Quinn is survived by her son, Quinn Smith (Amy) of Madison, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Parks “Bill” Smith and her parents, Lever and Verna Worrell of Ackerman, MS.

Mr. Thames was born to the parents of Willie Rew Thames and Ethel Mae Harrison Thames in Neshoba County Mississippi on July 22, 1948.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons, Patrick Thames and Tyconan Estes; siblings, John Hester Thames, David C. Thames , Lenard Thames, Veterine Thames, Flora Rene Thames and Willie Sue Coleman.

Lester is survived by his loving wife, Ada Mae Thames ;daughter, Ethel (Dreyxell) Nicholson; sons, Lester Earl Thames, of Louisville, MS., Robert Lee Shell of Walnut Grove, MS, and his nephew whom he raised as his son, Marcus (Danna) Thames of Arizona; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; siblings, Ethel (Craig) Harwell, Willie J. (Ethel) Thames, Fredrick Thames and Amos Thames all of Louisville, MS. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Terrell Y. “Terry” Wright, Jr.

Terrell Y. “Terry” Wright, Jr., 79, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at his home in the Nanih Waiya Community with those who dearly loved him by his side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 23 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Reverend Jerry Lundy officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in Harmony Cemetery.

Terry was born December 17, 1945, to Terrell Wright, Sr. and Mavis Sellers Wright in Louisville, Mississippi. He worked in the oil fields and later retired from Taylor Machine Works as a welder and pipe fitter. Terry enjoyed being with people; singing; and riding four-wheelers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing as long as his health allowed. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren. He answered the call of his country by serving in the United States Army.

Terry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Stokes Wright of Louisville; and his children: Terice (Michael) Smith of New Brunswick, Canada; Jeremy (Jessica) Wright; and Tabatha Griffin (Vince Ferguson) all of Louisville. One of his greatest joys was being “Papaw” to his grandchildren: Colby (Hannah) Wright, Braydon Wright, Dillon (Laura) Long, Juliana (Matthew) Walker, Brody Long, Caleb Long, Dylan (Mollie) Tabor, Cheyenne Griffin and Raelie Jewell; as well as his seven great-grandchildren: Reece Wright, Emerson Walker, Casey Long, and Julianna, Tayley, Tinley and Jagger. He also leaves behind his sister, Dale Wright Green of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee: and brother, Danny Wright of Louisville; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, other family members, and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

Curtis Steele Austin

Curtis Steele Austin, 76, of Louisville, MS., passed on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Louisville Health Care Center, Louisville, MS. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date by the Family.

Curtis was born to the parents of Charles Cooper and Idell Gill on May 21, 1948 in Winston County Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by; parents, Charles and Idell; siblings, Christine Steele, Bobbie Nell Gill, Billy Cooper, Leon Cooper, Charlie Cooper, Lee Cooper, Homer Cooper and Lue Eller Cooper. 

He is survived by; Rebecca Lee Austin, his wife of 52 years and his children: Chevelle Hall, Primas Hall, Vernita Avery (Lewis), Tatasha Austin, Curtis (Megan) Austin, II, and Chaquastia Austin; 26 grandchildren. Siblings: Wilma (Jim) Veasley, Lois Steele, Billy Ray Steele, William Earl (Evelyn) Steele, Ida (Terry) Miller and Clara Cooper and James (Dianne) Cooper. A host of nieces, nephews, Cousins and other relatives and friends.

Benjamin Michael “Ben” Maxwell

Benjamin “Ben” Maxwell, 36, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home in Winston County, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ben was born June 23, 1988, to Robert Maxwell, Sr. and Helen Burt Maxwell. He enjoyed working with wood and he dearly loved his family.

Ben is survived by his mother, Helen Burt Maxwell of Macon, Mississippi; and his son, Michael Shane Maxwell. He also leaves behind his sister, Melissa Maxwell; and two brothers, Robert Maxwell and William (Amber) Maxwell. Ben was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis Maxwell, Sr.

James Otis Crocker

Mr. James Otis Crocker, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21st, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at 10:30 A.M. at Butler Cemetery in Noxubee County, with Rev. Gary Phillips officiating.

James was born December 9, 1944, in Noxubee County, to Earnest and Minnie Laura Presley Crocker. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight sisters and brothers.
He is survived by a sister, Evelyn Vickery of Walthall, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials in James’ memory may be made to the First Apostolic Church.

Roy Sidney Black, Jr.

Roy Sidney Black, Jr. of Ackerman, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at his residence in Ackerman, MS. Roy was born on January 31, 1961 in Winona, MS to Roy S. Black, Sr. and Nannie (Raines) McPherson. He was 63 years old. After high school, Roy enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served for 4 years. He was an electrician for years until he was unable to work and had to retire.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Roy is survived by his son, Andrew Black (Samantha) of Houston, TX, his daughter, Ashley Black of Ackerman, MS, his granddaughter, Mallie Black of Houston, TX, and his former wife, Lynn Black of Ackerman, MS. He is also survived by 5 sisters and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy S. Black, Sr. and Nannie (Raines) McPherson, and a sister.

Stanley Earl Marshall

Stanley was born July 14, 1961 to the parents of Earnest Lee Marshall and Naomi Beamon Marshall in Winston County Mississippi.

He is survived by siblings; Exie ( Antonio) Washington, Carol (Anthony) Cunningham, Earnest (Yvette) Marshall, Jr., Sharon Marshall and Wanda (Donny) Marshall-Smith; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and family.

Jimmie Ruth Sisson

Funeral Services for Jimmie Ruth Sisson will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County with Bro. Richard Burks and Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel.

Jimmie Ruth Sisson, 90 of Philadelphia passed away Saturday, December, 14 2024, at Neshoba County Nursing home.

Jimmie was a long time resident of Philadelphia Ms., she and her husband Brealon were great workers in the Mars Hill Fire Department for years. She worked at various factories over the years and later became a house wife. One of her main hobbies was sewing and could make anything from dresses to cushions and beautiful curtains. She was a great cook and made wonderful dressing. She always wanted to help when someone needed something. Jimmie was a member of Mars Hill Pentecostal Church and serving God and going to church, was what she loved more than anything. She loved her family deeply and was always there for them and she will be surely missed by all.

She is survived by her nieces, Judy Wyatt, and Kathy Womble (Charlie); along with numerous great-nieces, nephews and their families.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brealon Sisson; parents, Lester and Eula Mae Stevens; brothers, Junior Stevens, Kenneth Stevens; nephews, Wendell Manning, Ferlon Goldmon; nephew in law Jimmy Wyatt.

Pallbearers will be Derek Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Greg Sisson, Glenn Sisson, Frankie Goldmon and Bill Goldmon.

Roy, was born July 2, 1944 to the parents of Charlie Gladney and Lonnia Seals Gladney in Winston County Mississippi.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Gladney and Lonnia Gladney and his brother, Odean Gladney.

Roy is survived by his wife, Mattie Gladney; sons, Darell (Yolanda) Gladney, David (Brittani) Gladney, and Dwayne (Regina) Gladney; nine grands, Brandon, Hope, Austin, McKinley, Camille, Gabrielle, Journey, Marshun, Montell and one great grandchild, Koa; siblings, Lorene (Henry) Turner, Corene (Edgar) Crosby and Charlie (Barbara) Gladney.  Ruby Nell McClelland, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Reverend Donnie Buckner officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in Wake Forest Cemetery in Sturgis, Mississippi.

Ruby was born November 18, 1933, to Bilbo and Mary Alice Gray McGinnis in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. She was a member of Wake Forest Baptist Church. Ruby dearly loved music and cooking for her family and friends. She was fittingly described by her granddaughter as “selfless, kind, fun, and humble.” Ruby had a giving, loving heart and always wanted every visitor to leave with something.

Ruby is survived by two sons, James “Bomb” (Gayenell) McClelland and Randall (Lynn) McClelland all of Sturgis, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to her four grandchildren: Jay McClelland, Bridget (J. T.) Tucker, Brooke McClelland (Matthew) Salley, and Austin (Katrina) McClelland. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren: Lauren (Kaleb) Fulgham, Coleman McClelland, Carter McClelland, John Thomas Tucker, Jack Tucker, Jake Tucker, Grayer Salley, Jaxon Salley, Emerson Kate Salley, Conner Black and Abby Black; as well as her two great-great-granddaughters, Maggie Ryan Fulgham and Mollie Fulgham. She also leaves behind four sisters: Dicie Avant, Martha Ann Suffrage, Frances Bucci, and Betty Westbrook; and her brother, Billy Gray McGinnis; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Dick McClelland and Calvin Horace; parents; five brothers, James McGinnis, Roy Lee McGinnis, Charles McGinnis Eddie McGinnis, and Marvin McGinnis; and two sisters, Evaline Ballard and Mary Lou Jones.

Serving as pallbearers are Austin McClelland, Matthew Salley, Jay McClelland, Coleman McClelland, Carter McClelland, J. T. Mary Kathleen Hunt

Mary Kathleen Hunt, or as everyone lovingly called her, “Kathleen,” left us for a better party on December 8, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on October 11, 1936, to Nason Boyd and Opal Kathleen Murphy in rural Mississippi, back when things moved a little slower. On May 7, 1953, she tied the knot with William “Billy” Pilot Hunt, kicking off over 50 years of love, travel, and laughter. Billy, no doubt waiting with a wink and smile, preceded her in death in November 2006.

Kathleen is survived by her children: Daughter Sherry Jean Davis and her husband Jim of Ackerman, MS.,  Son Warren Dale Hunt and his wife Debbie of Hobbs, NM., Son Daniel Lee Hunt and his wife Karole of Hobbs, NM.

She loved her grandchildren dearly: Tamera Davis of Ackerman, MS., Matthew Hunt of Victoria, TX.,
Aaron Hunt and his wife Emily of Canyon, TX., Thomas Hunt and his wife Andrea of Amarillo, TX.,
Amanda Miller and her husband Steven of Ackerman, MS., Billy Davis and his wife Jennifer of Huntsville, AL., Amber Hunt McKinney of Austin, TX., Alex Hunt of Austin, TX.

She also leaves behind a rowdy bunch of great-grandchildren: Tyler (wife Amber), Danae, Zyon, Hayden, Alyson (husband Miles), Patrik, Elijah, Jacob, Peyton, Tate, Isabel, Owen, Abe, and Hudson. And just to make sure she stayed on her toes, her great-great-grandchildren Ethan and Evelyn brought even more joy (and noise) into her life.

Kathleen’s extended family includes her cousin Marlene Dean of Ackerman, MS, friend and partner-in-crime, Audrey Curry of Midland, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy, her parents, her two brothers, her sister, and her daughter-in-law Pam, who are all enjoying a heavenly reunion right about now.

Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, and cherished Meemaw to her many family members and always enjoyed a time spent with loved ones wherever it took place. Kathleen had a wonderful laugh. She was caring and thoughtful often sending $10 checks in a variety of celebratory cards. She enjoyed the holidays and rarely missed a birthday or holiday with a landline phone call or visit. She enjoyed a house full of family playing board games, putting together puzzles, and of course a room full of laughter. She loved to shop… rarely missing a sale at the department store, armed with coupons and a giggle, ready to snag a deal. Kathleen enjoyed working in the yard—her flower beds bloomed well, and her home décor always had a splash of nature’s beauty and red birds…many red birds.

She and Billy shared a love for travel, road-tripping across North America and escaping to the Caribbean islands. But whether she was on an island or in her living room, Kathleen never missed an opportunity to gather people for a good time.

A proud resident of the Permian Basin, Kathleen worked at Clay Desta and Olan Mills, charming many with her sense of humor and willingness to work hard. She was a longtime member of Bellview Baptist Church, where she found peace in her faith and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. No matter where life took her, Kathleen’s spirit remained determined.

Kathleen had a zeal for life. She could light up a room or phone call with her infectious laugh, always reminding us tell our loved ones that we loved them. While we’ll miss her stories, and her way of making you feel heard and loved, we’ll carry her loving spirit with us.

Visitation will be held at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home in Midland, TX, on Wednesday, December 11. Funeral Services will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS on Saturday December 14 at 10AM. Interment will follow the service at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman. MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of local arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Kathleen’s memory to a church, charity, or scholarship fund that brings you joy—like she did.

DeLores (Ball) Glazier

DeLores (Ball) Glazier, age 98 went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 7, 2024.DeLores was the first of four children born June 5, 1926, to William D. and Hester (Prisock) Ball. She grew up in Louisville, MS and accepted Christ as her Savior as a teenager while attending First Baptist Church in Louisville.

DeLores married Clark Horton in 1945 and together they moved to Jackson, MS remaining there until Clark's death in 1974.

It was during those years in Jackson that she and Clark raised three children: Roger, Jan, and Bobby.
She married Herman C. Glazier in 1984. Herman passed away in 2003. Delores moved to Ridgeland, MS in 2005 to be near her children.

She is preceded in death by her beloved sons, Roger (1966) and Bobby (2013); her son-in-law James Gabriel (2016); her daughter-in-law, Dianne Horton (2022), her parents; her brothers, Robert (Bob) Ball, Marion (Buddy) Ball, her sister, Ann Mayo; her sisters-in-law, June (McAlilly) Ball and Frances (Stewart) Ball; her brother-in-law, Hubert Mayo; and her niece, Penny (Ball) Black.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Horton) Gabriel of Gluckstadt MS; Jan's son, Jason (Amy) Gabriel of Blacksburg, VA and their children; Jackson, John Parker, and Annaliese, her grandson, Blake (Katie) Horton of Oxford, MS, and their children Sam, and Max, and, her many nieces and nephews.
A small service will be held Thursday, December 19, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel at Broadmoor Baptist Church, 1531 Highland Colony Parkway in Madison, MS with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. the same day.

Mrs. Marsha Ruth Eaves

Mrs. Marsha Ruth Eaves passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 10, 2024, at her home in Louisville, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family . Visitation will be on Friday, December 13th, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Porter Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow beginning at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Louisville.

Marsha was born on September 24, 1954, to Jack and Dorothy Shelton Johnson. A remarkable woman from the beginning, she graduated from Louisville High School in 1971 as Salutatorian. Her determination and passion for serving others led her to a career in nursing, earning both her LPN and RN degrees. For over 40 years, she selflessly cared for others. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marsha came out of retirement to assist her community.

While nursing was her career, Marsha’s creative talents were evident in every area of her life. Her impeccable eye for detail and warm hospitality made her a natural decorator and gracious party host. Her family and friends often joked that she had missed her calling because of the effortless way she could transform any gathering into a beautifully organized and welcoming event through her skills as a hostess.

Marsha was recognized for her dedication and many contributions to her community, including once being named Winston County’s Woman of the Year. She was an avid member of Baptist Nursing Fellowship and a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Louisville. She also participated in medical mission trips to Honduras, sharing her faith and expertise with those in need.

Marsha was an active member of numerous civic organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution, Pilot Club, and Junior Auxiliary. Despite her many commitments, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren—and traveling with friends.

Marsha’s indomitable spirit and fierce determination were an inspiration to all who knew her. A true warrior, she took on every battle she faced with unmatched courage and resilience, defying the odds and continuing to live life to its fullest for many precious years. Even in the face of immense challenges, Marsha’s faith and positive attitude never wavered. She remained a loving wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, and a fierce and loyal friend who poured her strength into others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jimmy Johnson, her sister, Lynda Jack Johnson Yarbrough; her beloved stepfather, Fletcher Gore; and her mother-in-law, Willa Dean Watkins.

Marsha is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Richard “Rick” Lin Eaves; her daughter, Adrienne Mercer (Stephen), son, Joshua Goodin; grandchildren, Clay Mercer (Grace), Fletch Mercer, and Millie Kate Mercer; nieces, Tara Yarbrough Woodward (Jimmy), Ginny Yarbrough Deliman (Patrick); great-nieces and nephews, Matthew Woodward (Kristin), Andrew Woodward (Maci), Kaitlin Kennedy Albritton (Colter), Mallory Kennedy Schwartz (Connor); brother-in-law, Kenneth Eaves (Brenda), father-in-law, Hank Eaves (Judy); brother-in-law, Jim Yarbrough; cousin, Mary Snow (Johnny); and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

Marsha’s life was a testament to faith, love, selflessness, and resilience. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Clay Mercer, Fletch Mercer, Matt Woodward, Andrew Woodward, Colter Albritton, and Connor Schwartz.

Lededric, was born June 30, 1979, to the parents of Joseph Finley and Sandra Paula Harris in Winston County Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grand parents.

Lededric is survived by, siblings; Chazrik Harris, Cedric Harris and Keimesa Culberson and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and family.

Mary Jane Young

Mary Jane Young, 81, passed away with her loving family at her side on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at her home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 10 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hank Dempsey officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow the service in Rural Hill Cemetery.

Mary Jane was born January 28, 1943, to Lawrence and Ellen Wells Black in Winston County, Mississippi. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mary Jane loved to crochet and many family members, friends, and those in the nursing homes have blankets that she lovingly made for them. She also enjoyed talking on the phone to her friends and family. Mary Jane dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Mary Jane is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Sullivan (Chris) and Lynn Hemphill all of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “Granny and Big Momma” to her grandchildren: Cricket Hemphill (Anthony Justice), Larae Cotton, Eric (Tammy) Hemphill, Charlie (Nora) Hemphill, and Hanna Hailey. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Jazlyn Kirk, Harley Kirk, Layla Kirk, Aaliyah Hemphill, Alyssa Cotton, Everleeanna Fulce and J.J. Mary Jane loved her friend and caregiver, Misty LaDawn Burnham and her family; hospice nurse, Robyn White; nursing assistant, Darlene Potter; and special friends, Pam Hall and Lee King very much. Janice Harwice Downs Taylor

Janice Harwice Downs Taylor of Ackerman, MS, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at her residence near Ackerman, MS. She was born on March 11, 1942, in Kosciusko, MS to Edward and Hazel (Sanders) Downs. Ms. Taylor was 82 years old and was a retired auditor for the State of Mississippi.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Monday, December 9, 2024, at Mt. Airy Cemetery near Ackerman, MS with Bro. Michael Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Cemetery.

Ms. Taylor is survived by 1 daughter, Tanya Anne McKnight (Robbie) of Ackerman, MS; two grandchildren, Saskia Atkins (Wesley) and Marissa Stacy, both of Ackerman, MS; and three great grandchildren, Arianah Atkins, Rylan Atkins, and Malakhi Taylor, all of Ackeman, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a very special grandmother Hattie Rawson Sanders.

Hilliard Andrew “Hilly” Fulgham

Hilliard Andrew “Hilly” Fulgham, age 96, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 8 at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Brandon Powell and Trevor Fulgham officiating. Visitation will be at the church on the day of the service from 2 p.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow in Morgan Chapel Cemetery.

Hilly was born January 9, 1928, to Ollie and Jenny Coleman Fulgham. He was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. After serving 35 years, Hilly retired as a Master Sargeant from the United States Air Force where he had a stellar career. During his career, he was awarded five Air Medals and four Meritorious Service Medals among many other awards. For example, on August 15, 1985, he received a Letter of Commendation for assisting the United States Coast Guard in the rescue of seven crewmen lost at sea during a hurricane. He was a member of the 815th Weather Reconnaissance Service as a hurricane hunter. He flew a C-130 airplane for more than 10,00 hours and into at least 75 hurricanes as a part of the group known as “The Flying Jennies.” After his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and farming, where he raised both cattle and horses. He and Joy loved to square dance and were members of the Jolly Squares square dancing group. They also enjoyed road trips throughout the United States and Mexico. Hilly was very competitive in sports and games, which he enjoyed playing with his family. He did not let anything interfere with his time to play dominoes with his buddies who were known as the “Morgantown Mafia.”

Hilly is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Joy Child Fulgham of Sturgis; and his children: Cathy Fulgham Green (Billy); Dawn Fulgham Vickers (Kim); Leonda Fulgham Morgan (Jamie) all of Sturgis; and Hilliard “Hilly” Fulgham, II of Granite, Oklahoma. One of his greatest joys was being “Pappy” to his 16 grandchildren: Jennifer Green; Neshay (Blake) Daniels, Tia (Daniel) Parker, Larkin (Jared) Daniels, Kimberlin Christopher, Trystun (Luke) Wilson, Sackett (Mary Grayson) Vickers, Nashlynn Vickers, Jessica Morgan (Wayne) Scarbrough, Hanna Morgan (Brent) Telano, James “Tyler” (Jordan) Morgan, “Tripp” (Skyler) Fulgham, Trevor (Tiffany) Fulgham, Keally Fulgham (James) Thomas, “Shay” Fulgham, and Hillaree Fulgham. David Phillip Watson

David Phillip Watson, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his home in Louisville, Mississippi. A private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10 with Reverend Mike Dowd officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Memorial Cemetery as a private family service.

David was born April 9, 1955, to Earl and Peggy Rose Peterson Watson in Meridian, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Winston Academy and of Mississippi State University where he earned a political science degree. David ran a family business, Louisville Hickory Plant, for many years with his father and brother.

David enjoyed fishing, bird watching, playing music, and had an appreciation for architecture. He was kind hearted, extremely thoughtful, and had an amazing sense of humor. Most of all, David loved his children and two grandchildren and was a wonderful father and grandpa.

David is survived by his son, David Phillip Watson, Jr., of Houston, Texas; and daughter, Laura Watson Kujawa and son-in-law, Kevin Kujawa of Chicago, Illinois; his sister-in-law, Lisa Watson Wilson of Louisville; and his brother-in-law, Ron Collins, of New Orleans, Louisiana. One of his greatest joys was being “Grandpa Dave” to his two grandchildren, River Holland Kujawa and Ruby Inez Kujawa. David is also survived by his nieces: Katie Watson (Will) Butts; Maggie Watson (Aaron) Fortin; and Maddie Rose Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elton Watson; and sister, Janet Watson Collins.

Klinelle Vickers Coleman

Klinelle Vickers Coleman, age 87, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital—Golden Triangle with those who dearly loved her at her side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 9 at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverend Junior Davis and Reverend Jeremy McCrory officiating. Visitation will be at the church on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow in Craig Springs Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.

Klinelle was born February 8, 1937, to Bert and Bertha Merritt Vickers in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Klinelle enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, and fishing with her faithful companion, Precious, by her side. She also enjoyed shopping, especially for jewelry, shoes, and purses. Klinelle was an excellent seamstress and an awesome cook, who enjoyed cooking for her family and others.

Klinelle is survived by her daughters: Gayenell (James “Bomb”) McClelland and Michele Milner (Daniel) all of Sturgis. One of her greatest joys was being “Momma C” to her grandchildren: Jay McClelland, Bridget (J. T.) Tucker and Tyler Milner; as well as her great-grandchildren: Lauren (Kaleb) Fulgham, Coleman McClelland, Carter McClelland, John Thomas Tucker, Jack Tucker, and Jake Tucker. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Maggie Ryan and Mollie Fulgham; her sister, Kathy (Burnell) Pitts; in addition to her loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Klinelle was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Grady Wayne Coleman; her parents, and her brother, Dale “Bud” Vickers.

Pinky Lee Slater

Pinky Lee Slater, 70, of Louisville, Mississippi, passed on Monday, December 02, 2024 at the Winston County Medical Center, Louisville, MS. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date by the Family. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Pinky was born to the parents of Jeves Wilbourn and Violetta Harris in Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by; son, Alvin (Tiffany) Slater, of Euclid, OH; siblings, Brenda Harris, Springfield, IL., Venessa Harris, Julia Coleman, David Harris, and Vincent Harris all of Chicago, IL. Joe M. Carr

Joe M. Carr, 76, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 6 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rob Faulk officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.

Joe was born February 7, 1948, to Maburn and Era Nance Carr in Louisville. He is a member of Center Ridge Church. Through the years, Joe worked at The Spartus Corporation and Teters in Louisville.

Joe is survived by his son, Jason Carr of Louisville; and daughter, Melanie Hinton (Montgomery) of Jackson, Mississippi; two granddaughters, Chynna-Jewelles Hodge Carr Jones (Cheston) and Micha-Claye Kemp Carr; and her great-great-granddaughter, Ryklin-Claye Hodge Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rodrick Reshun Donald

Rodrick Reshun Donald, 50, of Noxapater, Mississippi, passed on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 at his home in Noxapater, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Calvary Apostolic Faith Church, 54 Beal St., Louisville, MS. 39339. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Funeral on Thursday at the Church. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant#2 M. B. Church, 637 Mount Pleasant Road, Noxapater, MS 39346. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Rodrick, is survived by his mother, Sudie Donald; brothers, Keaton Donald, Zaus Kirkland,(Winnie), Andre Kirkland; sister, Michelle Burnside, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and other family and friends.

Bonnie Mae Richardson Cunningham

Bonnie Mae Richardson Cunningham, 98, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Louisville Healthcare Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi, with those who loved her by her side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 3 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Corey Jackson officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Interment will immediately follow the service in Jacksonfield Cemetery.

Bonnie Mae was born May 8, 1926, to Clay and Nettie Kemp Richardson in Gholson, Mississippi. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. In November 1995, she married Wallace Cunningham and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where she attended church at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. After more than 40 years, she retired from BellSouth Telephone Company in management. Bonnie Mae was a very talented artist; she especially enjoyed painting flowers and birds; and for her great-granddaughters, she painted Cinderella and Snow White. She was also an avid gardener; she loved to travel, and was very involved with her family.

Bonnie Mae is survived by her daughter, Debra Harrison Sullivan (Robbie) of Louisville; and her step-children: Alicia Edmiaston, Karen Colclasure (Tim), and Paul Cunningham (Glenda) all of Little Rock, Arkansas. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to her granddaughter, Dana Hodge Hisaw (Ken); her great-granddaughters, Chynna-Jewelles Hodge Carr Jones (Cheston) and Micha-Claye Kemp Carr; and her great-great-granddaughter, Ryklin-Claye Hodge Jones. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Bonnie Mae was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Harrison, John Hughes, and Wallace Cunningham; her parents; sister, Ruth Rogers; and three brothers, Ellis, Edgar, and Elvin Richardson.

Serving as pallbearers are Robbie Sullivan, Ken Hisaw, Cheston Jones, Blake Young, David Richardson, and Brad Dailey. Memorials in honor of Bonnie Mae may be given to Jacksonfield Baptist Church, c/o Kim Keen, 5432 Old Highway 50, Mathiston, MS 39752.

Johnnie Nell Ricks

Funeral services for J Nell Ricks will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Newman officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 12:00 noon until service time at Liberty Baptist Church.

Johnnie Nell Ricks, a beloved member of her community and cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on Saturday, January 9, 1943, Johnnie Nell lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.

A proud graduate of Noxapater High School, Johnnie Nell furthered her education by attending business school in Jackson. Her career was marked by her long-standing service as a dedicated employee to the Secretary of State of Mississippi, where she worked until her well-deserved retirement.

Johnnie Nell was a woman of strong faith, a Methodist who carried her beliefs into her everyday life. Her hobbies were as vibrant as her personality; she loved playing Bunco, shopping, cooking, and could often be found chatting on the phone with friends and family. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, bringing joy and warmth into every gathering.

Nell is survived by sisters; Joyce Way (Bill Rush), Tampa, FL., Linda Waltmon (Danny), Starkville, MS., Alice Ricks, Starkville, MS., Marie Wilson (Woody), Louisville, MS., Gayle Newman (Ed), Ethel, MS., brothers; Jimmy Ricks (Diane), Macon, MS., Billy Joe Ricks (Tammy), Starkville, MS. and Dorris Ricks, Brandon, MS. Along with several nieces and nephews and their families and sister-n-laws Mary Jo Ricks and Barbara Ricks.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Johnnie Clarence and Opal Irene Ricks, her brothers Randy Ricks and Jerry Ricks, and her nephew Stacey Ricks. Her memory will be cherished by those who survive her, including her devoted family and friends.

Johnnie Nell's life will be celebrated with the help of pallbearers Eddie Way, Thomas Savell, David Wilson, Chris Ricks, Brian Ricks, Ron Waltmon and Josh Newman, who will honor her legacy with love and respect.

Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Katie Miles Kemp

On November 28, 2024, Katie Miles Kemp, a fiercely independent, strong, and straightforward individual, died peacefully in the presence of loved ones at the age of 91. She was at her elder daughter's home in Metairie, Louisiana. On October 19, 2024, Katie experienced a fall at her home in Noxapater, Mississippi. Although she avoided serious injuries, the incident prompted her decision to move in with her daughter. While her physical strength waned in recent years, her mind remained sharp. Up until the day before leaving Noxapater, she continued driving, grocery shopping, attending church, and her weekly appointment at the beauty shop. She maintained her spirited independence to the very end. Katie was a woman of faith and had no fear of dying. She was at peace and ready.

Her vibrant personality and contributions were celebrated in grand fashion. She proudly served as the Grand Marshal of the 2012 Noxapater Christmas Parade and, alongside Mrs. Tenie Quinn, reigned as Queen of the Noxapater Mardi Gras in the 2023 parade. At age 90, she rode in a Corvette convertible, tossing beads and miniature moon pies with enthusiasm and flair, a testament to her spirited nature and zest for life.

Mrs. Kemp became a Registered Nurse in 1953 after graduating from the Rush Hospital School of Nursing in Meridian, Mississippi. Her nursing career began at Neshoba County Hospital, and she often joked about never needing to fill out a job application. Her nursing school roommate, Christine Fulton, once told her that a hospital board member had promised Christine a job after graduation. Katie quipped, “Get me a job too,” and Christine did just that. Among Katie’s most cherished experiences as an RN were the three medical mission trips she undertook to Honduras, where she treated and ministered to those in need. Being a nurse was more than just a job to Katie—it was who she was.

Katie's love for sports started early as a member of her high school basketball team and continued throughout her life. She avidly followed women’s college and professional basketball, collegiate football and baseball, golf, and the NFL. Her meticulous attention to detail shone in her ability to create flawless baseball scorecards. Beyond sports, Katie excelled in outdoor pursuits. She was an excellent markswoman and a skilled fisherwoman. Additionally, Katie was a Master Gardener who spent countless volunteer hours working in the flower beds and the landscaping at Estes Park in Noxapater.

A family legend was born about 15 years ago when her grandsons harvested a deer in her field. Calling her for help loading it, they were awestruck when she arrived, expertly field-dressed the deer, and transported it home—all with her trademark competence and no-nonsense approach.

In 1955, Katie married the love of her life, William Thomas (Bill) Kemp, Jr. Bill died in 1989 and she missed him every day. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary George and Dr. William Miles.

Mrs. Kemp is survived by her children: William Thomas Kemp, III (Diane); Dr. Pamela Kaye Kemp (Barbara); Mary Ann Jones (Dr. Mike), and her honorary daughter, Penny Barrier (Hugh). Her grandchildren were a source of joy and she cherished her role as their grandmother. They include Caroline Kemp (Toby), Dr. Thomas Khazanov (Dan), Carter Kemp (Dr. Kaley), Wailes Kemp (Grace), and Amy Claire Jones. Katie was overjoyed to meet and cuddle her two great-grandchildren: Charlotte Anne Kemp, daughter of Carter and Kaley, and Thomas Wailes Kemp, Jr., son of Wailes and Grace. She often remarked that one of her greatest life pleasures was witnessing her grandchildren grow into successful and happy adults and meeting their children.

Katie is also survived by her loyal and greatly loved dog, Ellie, who now resides contentedly in Metairie, Louisiana.

Farrah W. Jones

Farrah W. Jones, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch of her family, passed away on November 27, 2024. Born on January 8, 1943, Farrah leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family.

She is survived by her three children: Shane (Jean) Sunn, Maury (Tera) Jones, and Christia (Johnny) Graham; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "Granny." Her family was the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Farrah was an avid sewer and baker, known for her exceptional skills and creativity. Her love for Victorian-era aesthetics and flowers was evident in her hobbies and interests. She spent countless hours sewing, baking, and gardening, often sharing her creations with her loved ones.

Farrah was also known for her unwavering honesty, unbridled spirit, and sharp sense of humor. She was a woman who spoke her mind, never afraid to share her thoughts and opinions, and often did so with a wit and humor that could light up a room. Her candor was often refreshing, and her willingness to stand up for what she believed in inspired those around her.

Farrah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas W. Jones; her parents, Kathryn and Floyd Wood; and her sister, Lesli Wood Wilson.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has offered condolences, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

A celebration of Farrah's life will be held at Coleman's Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 3, at 12:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories of Farrah.
