Marilyn Hammond Anderson, age 61, passed away on February 26, 2022, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, Mississippi, with her loving family by her side. A memorial service is not planned at this time.
Marilyn was born January 11, 1961, to Kenneth and Judy Shearer Hammond in Stockton, California. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she dearly loved.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Jim Anderson and her three children: Veronica Anderson (Brion Lutz), George (Paige) Anderson all of Louisville, Mississippi, and Jackie Anderson of Noxapater, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Meme or Grandma” to her 10 grandchildren: Austin (Bre) Domer, Casey Domer, Braden Domer, Mateo Nuno, Maze Nuno, Rhett Anderson, Ryleigh Anderson, River Anderson, Colton Anderson, and Sawyer Higginbotham. Marilyn also leaves behind her parents Kenneth and Judy Hammond of Louisville and her brother Dennis (Denisa) Hammond of Stockton, California. She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth N. Hammond.
