A graveside service for Virginia Diane Pace will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia with Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pace, 68, of Noxapater, died Friday, December 11, 2020, at Desoto Baptist Memorial in Southaven, MS.
Born in Neshoba County, MS, she attended Philadelphia schools for a period of time and graduated later from Decatur High School. She was a longtime resident of Winston County and a longtime substitute/assistant teacher. She was a pharmacy technician for several years and also worked as an optician. She helped with several churches in the area with food distribution for the underprivileged and shut-ins. Mrs. Pace was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church. She loved to read her Bible, sew, and loved collecting odds and ends. She was extremely proud of her two sons.
Survivors include husband, William; sons, Barry Forest Pace and William Stanley Collins Pace; sister, Jennifer Lynn (Donald) Young; nieces, nephews and their families.
Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by parents, Willard Wyatt Stanley and Laverne Louise Maxwell Stanley.
Pallbearers are Cody Pace, Joseph Pace, Ben Pace, Mark McCool, Wiley Pace, and Paul Edwards. Honorary pallbearer is Chris Wells.
