Jalen departed his life September 3, 2010, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, at the Neshoba County Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Walter Lee & Lillie Mae McDougle and his paternal grandparents, Glenda and Bennie Kidd Calloway.
