Clovis was born December 27, 1952, in Louisville, MS. He was retired from Tyson Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ivory Mayo Chancellor; a sister, Gloria June Chancellor; and a brother, Charles William Chancellor.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Bailey of Louisville, MS; two nieces, and eight great nieces and nephews. Memorials in Clovis’ memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
