Wyatt Allen Pyron, a resident of Ackerman, MS, passed away on March 20, 2022, at Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center, in Eupora, Mississippi. He was 79 years old.
Allen was born on January 13, 1943, in Ruleville, Mississippi. Allen owned and operated Pyron's Body Shop and Al's Classic Cars until he retired. He loved antique cars and going to car shows. He was an avid bird hunter and also enjoyed crappie fishing. He loved watching the Bulldogs play baseball.
Allen was prededed in death by his parents, William and Beryl(Horis) Pyron, sister Carolyn Storey, and sister Ann Bright.
He is survived by his wife, Diane(McCulloch) Pyron of Ackerman, MS; 1 brother, William(Bonnie) Pyron of Grenada, MS; daughter, Denese(John) Barksdale of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Tina(Perry) Lee of Ackerman, MS; son, Brian Pyron of Ackerman, MS; son, Brandon Cartwright of Knoxville, TN; son, Chris(Alishia) Cartwright of Gillette, WY; daughter, Crystal(Darrin) Gard of Headland, AL; grandchildren, Tasha(Vince) Sanders of Starkville, MS; Kelly(Trey) Garner of Hernando, MS; Brandi Hollingsworth of Ackerman, MS; Bailey(Sarah Beth) Barksdale of Austin, TX; Kelsey Lee of Pensacola, FL; Harlie(Reed) Chandler of Ackerman, MS; Brantley Barksdale of Starkville, MS; Max Pyron of Ackerman, MS; Cory Cartwright of Gillette, WY; Alli Cartwright of Gillette, WY; Abby Grace Gard of Headland, AL; Hayden Gard of Headland, AL; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Ackerman Church of Christ. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
