Mrs. Bertha Lloyd, 70, of Plattsburg, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her home. Visitation is Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Dwight Fleming and Rev. Scott Boatner officiating. Interment will follow in the Plattsburg Cemetery.Mrs. Lloyd was born and reared in the Plattsburg Community of Winston County where she made her home most of her life. She was a longtime employee of Nemanco, Inc., and a member of Plattsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Millard Lloyd of Plattsburg; mother, Ruby Boatner of Plattsburg; son, Bobby Lloyd (Sheila) of Plattsburg; grandchildren, Robby Lloyd (Kassie) of Louisville and Missy Young (Matt) of Louisville; great-grandchildren, Zack Lloyd, Taylor Lloyd, Kody Young and Kyler Young; and brothers, Martin Boatner (Johnnie) of Louisville and Don Boatner of Philadelphia. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her father, Howard Boatner.
Pallbearers will be Robby Lloyd, Donny Boatner, Casey Boatner, Lenny Boatner, Richard Boatner, Gary Boatner and Lamar Mayo.
