Mr. John Thomas Rogers, 53, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, February 26th, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev. Jimmy Moore and Rev. David Keene officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until service time at the church.
Mr. Rogers was born December 1, 1958. He was a former pastor, and a member of Vernon Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his parents, Clara Eaves and Berlin Rogers of Louisville; three sons, Robert Rogers of Lake, MS, Brian Rogers of Brandon, MS, and Jonathan Rogers of Louisville; three sisters, Kathy Hodge, Sharon McKinley, and Donna Sinclair, all of Louisville; and one grandchild, Madison Kaye Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Tommy McKinley, James Sloan, Mark Dempsey, Clarence Kelley, Bruce Lee, Mitch Sanders, Virgil Rodgers, and Larry Cockrell.
