Clara Beatrice Devine Burchfield, born June 16, 1926 in Holmes County Mississippi to Otis Elmore Devine and Ivy Bee Gentry deceased, passed away February 13, 2012 at 11:40 pm in Winston County, MS.
She was the wife of Harold Jackson Burchfield who preceded her in death. Two children also preceded her in death, a son Allen Ray Burchfield and a daughter Frances Cheryl Burchfield.
She is survived by four children: Gary Burchfield, Robert Burchfield, Marty Burchfield, and Derrick Burchfield all of Lo Butcha, MS. Eight grandchildren; Moriah Sidwell of Dallas, TX, Amber Young of Louisville, MS, Nolan Burchfield of Kosciusko, MS, Krista Vowell of Starkville, MS, Kimberly Boswell of Forrest, MS, Jason Burchfield of Louisville, MS, Jacob Burchfield of Jackson, MS, and Kodi Yocham of Winston County, MS. Eleven Great Grandchildren and counting; two Sisters Delores McCalup of McComb, MS and Bobbie Ray of Winston County, MS. several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, February 16 from 5 to 8 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 am February 17, at funeral home with interment at Doty Springs Cemetery.
