Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 21st in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville with Rev. Charles Rook officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
Juanita was born April 21, 1924, to Edgar Shepherd and Willie Carter Shepherd in Louisville, Mississippi. Juanita was a dedicated housewife and mother.
Juanita is survived by four children: John B. (Sandra) Wright of Noxapater, Mississippi, Kenneth L. Wright of Louisville, Robert W. Wright of Cordova, Tennessee, and Ramona L. Schiefelbein and husband Larry of Franklin, Tennessee. Juanita was “Grandma” to seven grandchildren: Teresa Hart, Jaclyn Wright, Wendy Keith, Kyle Fulton, Timothy Wright, Jeison Schiefelbein, Johnnatan Schiefelbein and Juan Schiefelbein. She was also “Great Grandma” to Coral Starich, McKenzie Vanags, Emerson Hart, Logan Hart, Taylor Keith, Hunter Keith, Jennings Fulton, Landon Fulton, Colt Fulton, and Kadence Wright.

Juanita was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She also served in the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star. Through the years, Juanita served in different elected officer roles.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Wright, Kenneth Wright, Robert Wright, Ricky Keith, Kyle Fulton, and Larry Woodward. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Wright and Cody Frey. In lieu of flowers, Juanita wished for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
