Nancy Starnes Romaine, 72, a native of Sturgis, MS passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, surrounded by loved ones at her home of 52 years in Panama City, FL.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 2 p.m at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS., with interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS.
Ms. Romaine is survived by her son Patrick Holston (Sheryl) of Panama City, FL; her daughter Vicki Holston Johnson (Shayne) of Madison, AL; 4 grandchildren (Nate Johnson (Shelby) of Birmingham, AL; Trent Johnson of Nashville, TN; Emily McKinley of Orlando, FL); 2 great-grandchildren (Greyson, Hudson), 3 brothers (Hazel Starnes, Melvin Starnes, Chris Starnes, all of Sturgis, MS); and many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Romaine was preceded in death by her parents Joe Boyd and Arlin Starnes of Sturgis, MS, and 3 brothers (Jesse Starnes, Joe Allen Starnes, Donald Starnes, all of Sturgis, MS).
