Mrs. Mary Ann Bouchillon, 85, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at her home in Louisville, MS. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 3rd, at Evergreen Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Baptist Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bouchillon was born April 7, 1933, in Oxford, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of First Methodist Church. Through most of her life, Mary Ann followed her husband Milton in his travels with the Navy. Together, they lived in Guam, Puerto Rico, Florida, Rhode Island, Maryland and Mississippi.
She excelled at caring for her children, both human and feline. She was a voracious reader, artist, gourmet cook, and the most loyal and fierce friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Milton Bouchillon of Louisville, MS; two daughters, Marianne Gallagher of Dameron, MD, and Deborah Dowdy of Durham, NC; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maureen Henderson Walker and Baxter Walker.
Memorials may be made to the Palmer Home for Children, The Humane Society, or The Arthritis Foundation.
