Bobbie was born in Neshoba County on January 27, 1935, to Alonzo and Sally Ferguson Copeland. She was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church. Bobbie was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning the vegetables she grew and she loved to cook. She also enjoyed fishing, was a passionate reader, and had several pen pals. Also, she was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting but most of all; she loved her grandchildren and the time she got to spend with them.
Bobbie is survived by two daughters, Kathy Rogers and husband, Keith; and Kimberly Hamm Fulcher (Jeramy Price); and her son, Ronny Hamm all of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “MawMaw” to her two grandsons, Brandon Rogers (Julie); and Jamie McAdory and wife, Jeanie, with whom she enjoyed spending much of her time; as well as seven great-grandchildren: Jade and J. D. Chandler; Kayla, Hayley, Sydney, and Deuce Rogers; and Parker and Hannah Moffett. Also left to mourn her passing is her sister, Hays Kelly; and two sisters-in-law, Allene Peters and Wanda Hamm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Hamm; her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Ray Copeland, Donnie Duran, Kevin Hamm, Marty Lashley, Jamie McAdory, Jeramy Price, and Brandon Rogers. Memorials may be given to Zion Chapel Church, 6529 Garrigues Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
