James Alvin Parnell, 47, passed away on June 7, 2016 at his home in Louisville, MS. James was a blessing to everyone he met. He completely loved life and loved unconditionally everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Parnell; brother, Johnny Wayne Parnell; and step-brother, James Warner.
He is survived by his parents, Lionel and Vernice Warner of Louisville, MS; sisters, Carolyn Edmonds, and Kathy Wells of Starkville, MS, Lisa Allen of Richland, MS; step-sister, Tammy Moffett of Louisville, MS; step-brother Mark Dickerson of Louisville, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Curtis Chapel Cemetery.
