Jessica Lynn Peterson, 20, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jessica was born November 9, 1995, to Thomas and Rebecca Peterson. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Jessica is survived by her mother, Rebecca Gray and husband, Shane; her sister, Brittany Butler and husband, Lamar; and two brothers, Tim Peterson and Justin Peterson all of Sturgis, Mississippi; her step-brother, Kip Reese of Aberdeen, Mississippi; and her nephew, Bentley Butler. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, Earnest Oswalt; her uncle, Gene Oswalt and wife, Courtney; and her aunt, Linda Oswalt all of Ackerman. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Peterson; her maternal grandmother, Osie Oswalt; and her paternal grandparents, Eddie James and Kate Peterson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Bennett, Brennan Lanford, Dalton McDaniel, Gene Oswalt, Kip Reese, and Kenny Still.
