Funeral services for Clay Wesley, Sr. will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Crystal Ridge Gym in Louisville, MS with Rev. John Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancing Rabbit Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 179 Indian Road.

Mr. Wesley, 57, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Winston Co. Medical Center in Louisville, MS. He served for 12 years on the MBCI Tribal Council and had also worked as the Coordinator of Recreation and Facility Coordinator. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and socializing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Wesley and Effie Cotton Wesley; son, Samuel J. Wesley; sisters, Cissie Cotton and Lillie Joe and brother, Egbert Cotton.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Wesley; step-daughters, L'Ree Thompson, Marie King and Gina Thompson; sons, Zechariah Wesley and Clay Wesley, Jr.; step-son, Jon Thompson; former wife, Mary Wesley; sisters, Earline Willis, Elaine Denson, Sammie Lou Cotton and Geraline Jeanguneat; brothers, Benjie Wesley and Joseph Wesley; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Kinsey Henry, Anselm Henry, Bracey Bell, Chris Denson, Jeremy Mingo, Eddie Joe, Benjamin Bell, Leon Wesley, Houston Cotton and Willie Cotton.
