Mrs. Hodge was born on February 22, 1930, to Joseph L. and Minnie Bela Ray Clark. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and she retired as a nurse’s aide at Winston MedicalCenter. For more than 40 years, “Miss” Pearl served as a nursery attendant at South Louisville BaptistChurch touching numerous lives.
She is survived by her two sons, Joe Hodge and wife, Kathy, and Clark Hodge all of Louisville, Mississippi; her sister, Mearl McArthur of Bay Springs, Mississippi; her sister-in-law, Mary Darby and husband, Paul of Noxapater, Mississippi, and her brother-in-law, Roger Hodge and wife, Joanne, of Greenwood, Mississippi. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Dana Carr and husband, Jason; Brandi Provias and husband, Tony; and Robin Holt and husband, Danny; as well as eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hodge was preceded in death by her husband, Durant Hodge; her parents; her son, Roger Hodge; her great-grandson, Joseph Jackson; three brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be David McArthur, D. A. Richardson, Johnnie Richardson, John Walter Darby, Paul Darby, Jr., and Greg Phelps.
