Dana Marie Fedrick

Services for Dana Marie Fedrick will be held Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 2 p.m.from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Jerome Fedrick and Sister Marion Boler officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Fedrick, 46, of Weir, died Friday, December 28, 2018.

She was a former resident of Philadelphia, Ms and attended Neshoba Central School.

For the last 20 years she has been a resident of High Point Community of Winston County.

Survivors include her mother, Mattie Fedrick; niece, Sara August Shannon; nephews,Steeler Scott Shannon and Jae Hyun Cho; brother-in-law, Scott Shannon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Miss Fedrick was preceded in death by her father, Elvin “Cat” Fedrick; sister, Tammy Michelle Shannon.

Pallbearers are Charles Ray Pilgrim, Felix Watkins, Dale Schroeder, David Hebert, Phillip Carter and Michael Schroeder.

Gladys R. Triplett

Gladys Romedy Triplett, 90, of Louisville, MS, entered glory on December 29, 2018. Visitation will be Friday January 4, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Louisville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Merrill Stacy

Merrill Stacy, 80, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at his residence in Lucedale, MS. He was born April 25, 1938, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, to Okla Homa Stacy and Mildred(Hollis) Stacy.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Visitation was held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Coleman Funeral Home from 12:00 noon till service time at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Stacy is survived by his wife, Beulah Jean (Christian) Stacy of Lucedale, MS, 3 daughters, Jennifer Stacy of Lucedale, MS, Cindy Stacy of Baton Rouge, LA, and Michele Lewis(Anthony) of Baton Rouge, LA., 1 brother, Melvin Stacy(Bess) of Baton Rouge, LA,1 sister, Mary Fairchild of Lucedale, MS, and 4 grandchildren.

Mr. Stacy was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 son, Jeffrey Stacy.

Clarence Thomas Wiley, Jr., 80, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, at Friendship Baptist Church on Craig Springs Road with Rev. Junior Davis officiating. Mandy Watson

Mandy Watson, 42, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27 at Nowell Massey Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, at First Apostolic Church with Rev. Glynn Barker officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Chapel Cemetery.

Mandy was born August 25, 1976, to Lamar Kitchens and Gail Dempsey. She loved her church and was a faithful member of First Apostolic Church. Mandy began her 13-year career in the medical field as a surgical tech at Oktibbeha County Hospital. She later returned to Oktibbeha County Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Mandy enjoyed painting, working outside in her flowers, fishing, and beach vacations. She also loved her German shepherd dog, Molly.

Mandy is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Jay Watson and her daughter Brooke Watson of Louisville. She is also survived by her mother Gail Dempsey; her father Lamar Kitchens; two brothers Chad Kitchens and Brett Kitchens and wife Daphne; her grandmother Minnie Selma Dempsey; and her aunts and uncles. One of her greatest joys was being “Aunt Mandy” to her nieces and nephews: Channing Watson, Grant Kitchens, Bella Annaleese Kitchens, and Kinsley Rose Kitchens. Mandy was preceded in death by her brother Chris Kitchens; grandfather Raymond Lee Dempsey; her aunt Shirley Holmes Dempsey; and uncles Chester Dempsey and Gerald Ray Dempsey.

Serving as pallbearers are Chad Kitchens, Brett Kitchens, Jarrod Dempsey, Justin Dempsey, Raymond Dempsey, Jim Moorehead, Brandon Stovall, and Richard Watson. Bill Boykin will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Memorials in honor of Mandy may be given to Nowell Massey Funeral Home.

Lonnie Stringfellow

Lonnie Stringfellow, 86, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Collins and Dr. Cory Brock officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at Calvary Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Camp Ground United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Lonnie was born on October 19, 1932, to Ervin Eli and Lula Brooks Stringfellow. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was involved in Sunday School and served as a deacon. He enjoyed anything outdoors such as hunting and fishing as long as his health allowed.

Mr. Stringfellow is survived by three daughters, Robin Wood of Brandon, Mississippi; Cindy Crawley also of Louisville; and Traci Brock and husband, Steve, also of Brandon. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law Betty Ann Kaiser and Ruby Patricia Carter. One of his greatest joys in life was being “Granddaddy” to his four grandchildren: Megan Withers and husband, Dr. James Withers; Matthew Young and wife Missy; Cory Brock and wife Heather; and Kelsey Brock. Also left to mourn his passing are 10 great-grandchildren: Anna-Young Withers; Eli Withers; Caroline Withers; Barbara Withers; Sarah Margrett Withers; Kody Young; Kylar Young; Ethan Brock; Juliette Brock; Ames Brock; and another arriving May 2019. Lonnie was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara “Barboo” Stringfellow; his parents; four brothers Milman Stringfellow, Edward Stringfellow, his twin Johnny Stringfellow, and S. E. Stringfellow; and his sisters Louise Goff, Virginia Hanson, and Vivian Myers.

Serving as pallbearers are Steve Brock, Jordan Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, James Withers, John Albert Young, and Matthew Young. Memorial contributions in honor of Mr. Stringfellow may be given to Calvary Baptist Church, c/o Jo Ellen Johnson, 4109 Old Robinson Road, Louisville, MS 39339.

Larry Tollett

Larry Wayne Tollett, 57, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Keen officiating. Larry Wayne was born August 25, 1961, to William Tollett and Billie Ford Eaves. He was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church; a member of Beth Eden Lodge 0205 and he was a Mason.

Larry Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Kathy Nail Tollett of Louisville; his daughter Brandi Tollett Weber and husband Bryce of Tucson, Arizona; and his mother Billie Ford Eaves also of Louisville. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Hankins and husband Tony; Karen Marcile; Jan; and Beverly; and his brothers Craig Busher and wife Sharon; Mark Robertson; and Chuck Robertson. Larry Wayne was preceded in death by his father William Tollett and his grandmother Ruby Ford.

JoAnn Hyman

JoAnn Hyman, 70, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. JoAnn was born July 16, 1948, to Marvin Eugene and Jeanette Campbell Hyman. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a residence of the Pine Cottage at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home. She attended cosmetology school and became a beautician. JoAnn enjoyed cooking and being with her family and friends and was an avid South Caroline Gamecocks fan.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter Nicole Gregory and husband Kevin of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “Granny Jo” to her four grandchildren: Logan Gregory Nowacki, Jillian Gregory, Bailey Gregory and J. B. Hyman. She is also survived by her sister, Melodie Evans and husband Sherrell of Johnsonville, South Carolina; her brothers, Bobby Hyman and wife Beth of Lake City, South Carolina; and Timmy Hyman and wife Linda of China Grove, North Carolina. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; her son Michael Hyman; and her brother Terry Hyman.

Charles Robert "Bob" Power, 81, retired contract farmer for Prestige Farms, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at his residence in Ackerman, MS. He was born October 5, 1937, in Choctaw County, Mississippi to William C. and Mary(Franks) Power.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Ackerman Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Power is survived by his wife, Johnie(Beauchamp) Power, 1 daughter, Anissa Busby(Barry) of Washington State, 2 sons, Bill Power(Maureen) of Ackerman, MS, and Tom Power of Ackerman, MS, 1 nephew, Ed Reid(Angela) of Eupora, MS, 9 grandchildren, and 2 special great neices that he loved and considered grandchildren.

Mr. Power was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Billye Gwyn Reid, and 1 neice, Beth Reid Jackson.

Elizabeth "Sandy" Peden, 55, retired teaching assistant, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at her residence in Ackerman, MS, after a lengthy illness. She was born April 1, 1963, in Choctaw County, Mississippi to Floyd and Helen(Black) Fulgham.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Old Lebanon Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Wayne Peden, her mother, Helen Fulgham of Ackerman, MS, 1 daughter, Jodi Ford(Andy) of Macon, MS, 3 sons, Jess Peden(Susan) of Sturgis, MS, Jon Peden of Las Vegas, NV, and Jake Peden of Ackerman, MS, 1 brother, Monroe Fulgham of Ackerman, MS, 2 sisters, Belinda Vowell(Barry) of Ackerman, MS, and Faith Green(Bobby) of Sturgis, MS. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Sandy is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Fulgham.

Yvonne Beasley

Yvonne Beasley, age 60, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Winston Medical Center Hospital Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Yvonne was born February 7, 1958, to Lee and Mercedes Falcon. She had a loving heart and a big personality. Yvonne never met a stranger and when you talked with her you always felt uplifted and encouraged by her laughter and happiness. She enjoyed hard work and loved her grandkids.

Yvonne is survived by two daughters Randi Beasley and Hailey Towne and husband Joe all of Louisville. She is also survived by her mother Mercedes Acosta of Donaldsonville, Louisiana; seven brothers Tip Falcon; Chuck Falcon; Doody Falcon; Renard Falcon; Mark Falcon; Romie Falcon; and Noochie Falcon; and four sisters Gal Barrient; Donna Madere; Claire Casso; and Andre Williams. One of her greatest joys was being “Nana” to her six grandchildren: Avery, Attie, Dierks, Acetyn, Presley, and Axetyn. She was preceded in death by her father Lee Falcon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.

Linda Kaye Reed, age 52 of Ackerman passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM til 8:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman and 10:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ackerman, MS. Mrs. Reed was a member of Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a retired educator. She graduated from Weir High School in 1984 and graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in education from MSU. She was a dedicated teacher and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Linda is survived by her husband, Keith Reed, her daughter, Christy (Eric) Nowell and her son, Zac Reed and his wife, Morgan; grandchildren, Aubree and Hunter. She also is survived by her mother, Margaret Stevens and three sisters; Lisa Lewis, April Phelps, Jessica Grotpeter; and her mother-in-law, Mary Ray Reed.
