Murray was born August 15, 1966, to Aaron Olyn and Hilda Null Lowrey in Winston County, Mississippi. With his outgoing personality, he never met a stranger. If he met someone he did not know, his first question was “Who do you belong to?” Murray enjoyed traveling and one of the highlights of his life was the RV trip that he took across the United States with two special friends, Deborah Lea and Redd Pickell. He was the “life of the party” and if there was not a party, he would make it one! Murray was a loving son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and great-great uncle; a devoted friend to all.
Murray is survived by his mother, Hilda Lowrey; his brother, Joe Lowrey (Glynda) all of Louisville; and his brother-in-law, Larry Richardson of Preston, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Olyn Lowrey; two brothers, Tony Lowrey and Olyn “Keith” Lowrey; and his sister, Janice Lowrey Richardson.
Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Lowrey, Jeremy Shafer, Hunter Shafer, Aaron Shafer, Chris Crowson, and Frankie Joe Crowson. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Richardson, Kyle Hutchinson, Tim Crappel, Joel Nobles, Jamie McAdory, J. D. Chandler, Don Pratt, Bob Null, John Null, Todd Null, and John Rhett Presley.
