Mr. Jackson was born June 1, 1931, in Louisville, MS. He attended Bond High School, and Murphy Creek Baptist Church. Lethal had had a varied career as an electrical engineer, but was a master craftsman who could fix anything. He also worked as a technician for WLSM Radio and ETV of Mississippi. He was a talented musician, playing a guitar and mandolin, among other instruments.
Lethal was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Pearl Young Jackson; his parents, Andrew Gillett and Sarah Mae Jackson; and two brothers, Burgess “Sock” Jackson and Victor Lafayette “Pete” Jackson.
He is survived by his son, Carl Eugene Jackson and fiancé, Robin Hamric Arnold; a daughter, Patricia Dianne Coleman, and her husband, David; two grandchildren, Christi Michele Coleman Kelly, and her husband, Justin Kelly, and Christopher Michael Coleman; two great grandchildren, Jackson David Kelly and Levi Michael Kelly; sisters-in-law, Sue Goodson and Gay Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Grady Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Leo Jackson, Lester Jackson, and Mark Jackson.
