Jennie Lee Holder

Mrs. Jennie Lee Holder, 88, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at her home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 29th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Holder was born July 4, 1928, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired seamstress, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Holder; her parents, W.T. “Pete” Hill and Ottie Reed Hill; and one brother, William R. Hill.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Linda) Holder of Louisville, MS, and Aubrey (Cindy) Holder of Eads, TN; one sister, Joan Langford of Louisville, MS; one brother, John Ed Hill of Rockwall, TX; three grandchildren, Clay (Tara) Holder, Allison (Tracy) Caston, and Amy (Todd) Treon; and five great grandchildren, Mitchell Holder, Harrison Holder, Addy Caston, Ava Caston, and Anna Katherine Treon.

Pallbearers will be Clay Holder, Tracy Caston, Todd Treon, Keith Alexander, Gene Estes, and Larry Alexander.

Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church.
