She is survived by two daughters, June Addkison of Louisville; and Judy (Wayne) Tubb of Starkville; two sisters, Charlene Price of Louisville, and Mary Eunice Hankins of Brandon, MS; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Noxapater Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall Building Fund.

Hazel Sanborn
Mrs. Hazel Louise Sanborn, 88, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Holmes County Hospital in Lexington, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Friday, May 30th, at Noxapater Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Vowell and Rev David Sumner officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home.Mrs. Sanborn was born August 9, 1925, in Noxubee County, MS. She was a retired supervisor for Garan and Angelica Corps, and was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jake Maxey and Harold Sanborn; her parents, Ed and Sarah Coleman; a son, Keith Sanborn; a grandson, Bart Rogers, and a granddaughter, Karen Rogers.
