Mrs. Goodin was born on October 4, 1921, to Thomas L. and Anna Ethel Stokes Stuart. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Goodin and wife, Linda, of Louisville, Mississippi; and her son-in-law, James W. Scott of Illinois. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Vickie (Dale) Hoyt, Mike (Laurie) Scott, Laurie (Brad) Acton, Steve (Collen) Scott, Jeff (Sharon) Scott, David (Marion) Scott, Lanette (Rusty) Hanna, Kristi (John David) Voss, Keith (Sonya) Goodin, Britt (Tracy) Goodin, Paige (Kenny) Roye, and Natalie (Deric) Stewart. Mrs. Goodin also has 37 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Goodin; her son, Roy and Nelda Goodin; her daughter, Sylvia LaJune Scott; grandson, Kenny Goodin; granddaughter, Valerie O’Quinn; her parents; three brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Steve Scott, Mike Scott, David Scott, Jeff Scott, Britt Goodin, and Keith Goodin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Goodin and Conner Goodin.
