Funeral Service will be Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at 2 p.m., from Calvary Apostolic Church, Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, from 12 noon until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis will be reposed in the church on Saturday, one hour before service time. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery, with Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jimmie Ruth Edwards, 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Oktibbeha County Hospital Regional Medical Center in Starkville, Mississippi. Ora Faye Hudspeth Lindsey, 78, a homemaker/housewife, passed away Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. Mrs. Lindsey was born May 1, 1935 in Winston County. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lindsey will be held on Friday February 21, 2014 at 10AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the Bethsalem Cemetery located between Ackerman and Louisville, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday February 20, 2014 from 5PM until 7PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Lindsey, sons, Jason Lindsey and Jeff Lindsey, and her parents, Lillian and Eva (Gordon) Hudspeth. She is survived by her son, Johnny Lindsey of Sturgis, MS, a daughter, Janice Kilgore of Starkville, MS, a brother, Jimmy Hudspeth of Mantee, MS, and a sister, Barbara Williams of Scooba, MS. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawson was born May 2, 1957, in Louisville, MS. She was a 1974 graduate of Winston Academy, a graduate of Mississippi University for Women, and received her nursing degree from the University Medical Center. She was employed with Sta-Home Hospice, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. & Barbara McMillin; a sister, Julie McMillin Sloan; and her grandparents, Marie Loden, Gaines Loden, and Burris William & Mattie Rene McMillin; and her first husband, Dr. Carey Wise.

Myrtice Hurst Fulton

Myrtice Hurst Fulton, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. She was born on May 13, 1922, to the late Charlie and Byrdie Hurst of Mashulaville, Mississippi, in Noxubee County, Mississippi. She lived in Washington, D.C. briefly, where she worked for J. Edgar Hoover. Myrtice married Woodrow Wilson Fulton on January 1, 1943 in Washington D. C. before he left for military service in World War II. They returned to live in Winston County for the remainder of their lives where she devoted her life as a homemaker for her family, caregiver to aging parents and other close family members. She was a tireless worker at Enon Baptist Church serving as church secretary/treasurer for many years. She also volunteered at the Winston Baptist Center for many years.
