Terry was born May 25, 1963, to J. W Carter and Bonnie Sullivan Burks. He was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a devoted father and son. Terry was always willing to lend a helping hand, especially at Maw Maw's Country Store. He also loved his red Ford truck and his beloved dog, Bo.
Terry is survived by his mother, Bonnie Carter Burks; his son, John William Carter and wife, Brooklyn; his brother, Kevin Carter; his sister-in-law, Teresa White Carter; and his brother-in-law, Jack Oliver White, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Carter, and his brother, James William Carter, Sr.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Carter, John William Carter, John Miles, Kevin Arnett Dale Dickerson and Tim Smith. Memorials in honor of Terry may be given to Massey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
