Jeffery L. Smith, 62, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Memorial services for him will be held at a later date.
Jeffery was born July 21, 1962, to Billy Jack and Betty Jean Ivy Smith in Scott County, Mississippi. For more than 30 years, he enjoyed driving big trucks as he worked as a logger; he also enjoyed working in his yard. Jeffery enjoyed collecting antiques and was the “life of the party.” He dearly loved his family.
Jeffery is survived by his children: Jessie Smith and Jacob Smith both of Louisville; and his granddaughter, Jaylee Fulton. He is also survived by his siblings: Mitch Smith (Ann), Hal Smith, Penny Ascione (Anthony), and Toby Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
