Mrs. Barbara Bradford DeLoach, 79, passed away on October 22, 2024, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 26th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Dr. Heath Hillman officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
Raised in Louisville, Barbara graduated from Louisville High School in 1963, and received her Master’s degree in education from Mississippi State University. She was retired as director of education for the Federal Bureau of Indian Affairs. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant Bronell and Inez Woodruff Bradford; and a brother, Bryant Bradford, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, London (Rodney Jaime) DeLoach of The Woodlands, TX; a son, Conner DeLoach of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Judy (Paul) Tranum of Sturgis, MS; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey DeLoach, Jason DeLoach, David DeLoach, Lauren Lloyd; step-grandchild, Jessica LaFlex; and two great grandchildren, Cameron and Nathaniel.
