William C. “Bill” Wade, 74, of the Bear Creek Community, passed away, Friday, September 29, 2023, in Gulfport. Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Bear Creek Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery with Dwight Luckett, Don Brantley, and Steve Montgomery officiating the services. Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko is handling arrangements.
Bill was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He worked as an educator up until his retirement. During his time working he was a teacher, principal, and superintendent of education. After retirement in 2013, Bill co-founded, Performance Based Education Company, LLC .
Bill is survived by his wife, Susie Wade of the Bear Creek Community; two sons, Will Wade, and his wife, Leigh of Louisville, MS., Stephen Wade, and his wife, Emilie of Gulfport, MS.; two daughters, Chelsea Fulton, and her husband, Coker of Philadelphia, MS., Beth Ann Grey, and her husband, Ryan of Vicksburg, MS; one sister, Deniece Wade Parish of the Bear Creek Community; eight grandchildren, Wyatt Hopkins, Thomas Wade, Taylor Wade, Kennedy Wade, Garrison Grey, Gunter Fulton, Collins Wade, and Pullen Fulton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayes Lamar and Chelsea Corinne McCollough Wade and one brother, Hayes “Buster” Wade, II.
Those serving as pallbearers are Stephen Moore, Wade Moore, Hayes Wade, Aaron Wade, Brady Wade, Brent Gregory, Bart Gregory, and Kelly Alderman.
