Riley was born on July 26, 1942 to Olyn Dee and Carlene Eaves Fulcher on the land he died on in the Ellison Ridge community. To welcome him into heaven were his parents, sister, Bonnie J. White, and brother, Max Olyn Fulcher.

To honor his home-going sermon is an honorary son, Rev. Michael McMullen who spent many days running the same land as his own children.

Riley was called to serve his country in the Army in the early 60s, spending 18 months in Fairbanks, Alaska where he delighted in showing his family Santa Claus' House.

He was a welder for R. J. LeTourneau and finished his career at the Jitney Shop at Georgia Pacific. Having to retire early, he loved to do work for his family making rolling pins, beds, and doll furniture.

He loved to garden and did as God commanded us to do and feed the widows and needy. He was a great influence not only to his family but kids all through the community affectionately known as Pa Riley.

He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Barbara Plymon Fulcher, who he married in June of 1966 in McShan, Alabama, at Mount Moriah Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his three children: Carlene Fulcher-Eaves, Todd (Brenda) Fulcher all of Louisville MS and Chasidy (Stan) Hathorn of Johnson City TN.

His grandchildren are Melanie(Brad) Walton, Jonathan Eaves, Laken Fulcher, Abby (Skylar) Wyatt, Logan (Tripp) Brown, Justin Fulcher, Zoey Fulcher, Amanda Ewing and Kyle(Kaci)Ewing; along with 10 great-grandchildren, one of which has his birthday and one who bears his name. He is also survived by his sisters, Jo Cook and Judy Fulcher Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Eaves, Justin Fulcher, Art Cook, Tripp Brown, Jacob Prisock, and John Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Prisock, Jordan Prisock, Scott White, Mike Cook, and all his GP friends.
