Lou, a descendant of Italian immigrants, was born to Ciro and Caterina Nuzzi Fioramonti on
March 28, 1933, in Washington, D. C. He began his career as a police officer with the Washington, D. C. police department. Later, he transferred to serve in the Secret Service Uniform Division at the White House. He was always so proud to be a first-generation secret service agent that his country entrusted him to protect. Lou answered the call of his country by serving in the United States Navy.
Mr. Fioramonti is survived by his children, Marc Fioramonti and wife, Lisa, of the Nanih Wayia Community; and Patricia Pope and husband, Stephen, of Petal, Mississippi. One of his greatest joys was being “Poppy” to his four grandchildren: Brittany (Zach) Jones, Brett Fioramonti, Lindsay Pope, and Ethan Pope; and his great-grandson, William Elijah “Eli” Jones; he was so proud of them. Lou is also survived by his sister, Gloria Knudsen of Alexandria, Virginia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patty Rogers Fioramonti; his parents, Ciro and Caterina Fioramonti of Labico, Italy; brothers, Leo Fioramonti, Rocco Fioramonti, and Adam Fioramonti; sisters, Mary Marchetti, Beatrice Biancaniello, Judy Thompson, and Josephine Motika.
