Pat was born in Iverness, Mississippi on July 25, 1936 to Grace and Frank Wilson. She graduated from Louisville High School and was a cheerleader at Millsaps College. She married Ted Johnson Webb of Louisville. Her life was committed to her faith, family, and friends. She taught Sunday School for forty years at First Methodist Church in Yazoo City and was an active member and past lay director of the North Mississippi Emmaus Community. Pat was a life member of Junior Auxiliary. She was an avid reader and adored cooking, always sharing her favorite books and recipes. Her years at St. Catherine’s were happy and full of friendships of residents and employees alike. She loved her volunteer work with the Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland and was a member of Highland Colony Baptist Church. One of her greatest joys was being “Poppy” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Ted, children, Ted Webb, Jr. (Sarah) of Hattiesburg, Diane Hewlett (Richard) of Starkville, and Frank Webb (Dee) of Yazoo City; grandchildren, Caroline Clark (Grant) of Nashville, TN, Julia Ballow (William) of Signal Mountain, TN, Hayes Hewlett of Starkville, John Kyle Hewlett (Heather) of Madison, MeMe Hugh (David) of Starkville, Rich Hewlett (Athena) of Starkville, Elizabeth Ford (Ben) of Madison, and Anne Rush (Logan) of Meridian. She had thirteen great grandchildren: Hardy, Libba, Annie, Kennedy, Finley, Bonner, Browning, Woods, Ann Kendal, Reed, James, Henry and Ella.
She was predeceased by her sister, Sylvia Kyle and her grandson, Webb Hewlett.
