Ray Jackson, 61, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Murphy officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 12 p.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014, in Brown Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Mr. Jackson was born on November 27, 1952, to Earnest and Margaret Hobbs Jackson. He was a self-employed businessman.
Ray is survived by his three daughters, Misty Shirey and husband, Heath, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; Shellie Hall and husband, Ricky Hall, of Meeker, Oklahoma; and Ruthie Kilbourne and husband, Tony, of Allen Park, Michigan. He is also survived by three sons, Michael Ray Jackson, and wife, Grace, of Phoenix, Arizona; Michael Mitchell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and Jeff Mitchell and friend, Amy McMahon, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Mr. Jackson has three sisters, Karen Richardson; Janet Warren; and Rose Jackson; and nine brothers, Kenny Jackson; Johnny Gibson; Randy Stafford; Wade Gibson; Mike Gibson; Andrew Jackson; Anthony Jackson; Terry Jackson; and David Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Verna Jean Saylor and Carolyn Jackson.
