Mrs. Mary Triplett Metts, 65, died Friday, October 3, 2014, at her home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 5th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Leslie F. Mills officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until the service time at Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Metts was born April 8, 1949, in Memphis, TN. She was a homemaker, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, George Evelyn “Sweet” Triplett; and her brother, Joel Triplett.
She is survived by her father, Billy Earl Triplett of Louisville, MS; three sons, Chase Chiles of Louisville, MS, Chad (Pam) Chiles of Locust Grove, GA, and Charles “Chuck” Chiles of Louisville, MS; four grandchildren, Macy and Kacy Chiles, and Jenna and David Labbie; one aunt, Nancy Robertson; one uncle, Raymond “Bud” Triplett; friend and caretaker, Genary Glenn Frazier; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Peterson, Maxie Peterson, Danny Peterson, Jimmy Peterson, Scott Peterson, Burr Warner, Fletch Peterson, and Niles Peterson.
