Raymond Ray Jenkins passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Choctaw County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ackerman, MS. Raymond was born on September 27, 1941, in Choctaw County, MS, to Wesley Samuel and Beulah (Ray) Jenkins. He was 81 years old.
Raymond married Jo Ann (Southern) Jenkins on August 9, 1963, and the two were married for 53 before they were parted on this earth in 2017. Raymond was employed by Mersman in Eupora, MS, until he was disabled in 1974. He was told he wouldn't live to see 50 years, but he beat all the odds and lived to see 81. Raymond was a determined and stubborn man that loved driving fast cars, telling stories in that slow, southern drawl of his, and enjoyed gardening until health issues prevented him from doing so.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home.
