Mr. Walter Robert (Bob) Lincoln, 82, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at North MS Medical Center in Eupora, MS. He lived 50 years in Olive Branch, MS, but had lived the last 10 years in Noxapater, MS, where he was on the water board. He was a retired Olive Branch Assistant Police Chief. He was a Firearms Instructor, an EMT, a Certified CPR Instructor, a commissioner of 911 Emergency Services, and he was also in the Tennessee Air National Guard. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #277 in Noxapater, and his hobbies included riding motorcycles and auto mechanics.
He has a long line of education history starting with being a high school graduate of Southside, Memphis, TN. He attended Northwest Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Lincoln was a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in Harrison County, MS, and he had completed some extra Advanced Law Enforcement Training Classes.
Mr. Lincoln is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Walter Lincoln and Wardie Shelby Lincoln, and his sister, Elizabeth Lincoln Hallmark.
Survivors include his wife, Nita Lincoln; son, Rodney Lincoln (Patty) of Starkville, MS; daughter Robin Warner; (5) grandchildren; (11) great-grandchildren.
There will be a private family interment for Mr. Walter Robert (Bob) Lincoln at a later date.
